Introduction

Hi everyone! I'm Caro from Caro.Studio, and I am here to introduce to you my first (of many) projects: F1-8x Wristrest!

The typing angle was way too steep for me so I thought, what better than to make a wrist rest for this? Mr. Geon himself is aware of this, so we are all good!!

Specs

- Material: Full Aluminum 6063 (80 units) or Polycarbonate (20 units)

- Colors: Navy (533C), Black, Silver, Polycarbonate

- Angle: 9 degrees

- Height of front: 4.2mm

- Length: 354mm

- Bumpons?: Geon's Round Feet - D10.0 for F1-8X Original.

- Logo: ( ʃ ƪ˘ ³˘)

- GB date: 9/9/22 - 9/23/22

- Pricing: Aluminum: $80, Polycarbonate: $75 (Not including shipping)

- Fullfillment Dates: 2-3 months from when GB ends, delivery at end of q4 or early q1.

- If there are no feet, how are you going to keep it from sliding around?

This is missing quite a bit of information and it's very off putting that you have group buy dates already. This has the potential to be a cool project if you take your time and revise the IC.

Of course! I want to earn people's trust so I want to make sure everything is good before actually going through with it!

3. Do you have anodization samples from your manufacturer for all 3 colors?
Yes, I do! Colors are subject to change depending on need/want as I am not hard set on those colors so I can order more samples as the IC keeps rolling and I see what people want.

4. Why do you have GB dates before confirmed pricing?
I honestly, chose those dates because that's what other IC posts have. I now know to not do that, so I'll change it to TBD on my IC form since it's too late to change it on GH!

5. What is the angle, length, and height of the front of the wrist rest?
Angle is 9 degrees to complement F1-8x, length is 354 mm, front height is 4.2mm!

6. Where are you shipping these from?
Once I get them in hand, I'll be shipping them from California.

7./8. What does the bottom actually look like, are there feet?
Yes! Each wrist rest will include black 3m SJ5402s. There are 8.2mm holes at the bottom so that way, you have some flexibility when applying the bump-ons!

Again, it's my bad for putting group buy dates. I thought I needed one in order to have an IC, so I'll be removing that. Lmk if there's anything else I can answer and thanks for the feedback!

I thought about that, but I was able to shave a few dollars off if I used the 3M one. If people want though, I don't mind redesigning the bottom for it to fit. I'm open to all ideas! Haha.

Even if Geon does happen do give permission for using his logo (which I think would be a BIG stretch), I think that would be misleading and would also disregard the efforts went in by the wrist rest's designer/gb runner.
