And that concludes the invoicing for Snackeys:FR.

It's tough to see familiar faces in our thread. People who have consistently joined our sales in the past, get skipped because of RNG. Unfortunately. part of being "fair" means having to be "unfair" to those who are close. For that, we are truly sorry. We fully anticipate that there will be some orders that will go unpaid or cancelled. We assure you that we will hold to the deadlines we set so that we may give others an opportunity.

For those who won, congratulations. Expect shipping to start soon. Thank you all for joining.

JK, thanks so much for making these.. what a rush anyway! Maybe someone will not respond to the invoice and I'll get another chance at these - they're the only artisans I'd put on my board.

Congrats to all of the winners!

Next time then, or possibly the unpaid invoices....will unpaid invoices go to people in the existing entrant pool, or will there be a second form?

Will I ever win a main raffle of a big Artisan? Probably not, but I'm still glad I got into the reraffle last round, maybe again this round? Haha I doubt it.
Have some music that you'll probably hate guys:

The winners might be interested in something like this:

The ones that did not make it might need a pick-me-up... sadly I can't find something that does it for me atm, so I'll post something later, up until then have some random Helblinde songs (I won't bother to correctly link em to save space):

 i know my luck isn't that great, but it's riling seeing a single person win multiple items in a raffle that has 1000+ entrants. This really makes me question how their raffle system works, and if there could be improvements to the system.

Just imagine what a nightmare it would be shipping 1 individual item for each person that wins a cap. You didn't win this time maybe next time you will. Consider this raffle system the fairest. Some require you to have a certain number of posts.

In an ideal world for us, it would be round robin but that would make an artist's job much harder. Shipping 200 caps to 100 people is easier than shipping 200 caps to 200 people so I can understand it from that perspective. Just sucks for people who don't win and see that. I'm considering creating a website that would automate the entire raffle process to make it easier for all parties. Gotta come up with a proof of concept and get some opinions first though.

We understand your frustration. I wanted to link a part of our FAQ as this is a question that is asked quite often:

How does KeyKollectiv handle distribution of caps?

Contrary to popular belief, the quantity of caps produced has very little bearing on how we distribute them. Generally speaking, we follow some basic guidelines when we begin the invoicing process:

First, we determine a time-frame that we feel is reasonable for completing a sale. Usually, order fulfillment takes 5-10 business days from invoice to shipment.

Based on the time window we set, we calculate the approximate amount of orders that we can fulfill realistically.

From there, we factor in the amount of keycaps we produce to determine the average amount of keycaps someone can win. We also allocate resources into packaging/shipping based on the amount of orders we determine.

How does KeyKollectiv’s method of distribution affect my chances of winning?

Many times, we are approached by our supporters asking how someone could receive 3 caps and they received none. We certainly understand how frustrating that may be.

Hypothetically, let’s assume that we produce 200 keycaps. Packing/shipping/logistics is both costly and time-consuming. It makes much more sense for us to send 2 caps to 100 people rather than one keycap to 200 people. In order to fulfill orders in a timely manner, we feel that this method allows winners to manage their expectations realistically.

Whether you choose one cap or the maximum limit, the selection process is only limited to the number of spots we allocated.

Have you ever considered not allowing people to win multiple sales before others? Or at least not consecutive sales? Just wondering if that's even a possibility

Have you ever considered not allowing people to win multiple sales before others? Or at least not consecutive sales? Just wondering if that's even a possibility

Side note: Thanks for doing what you do, KK. We appreciate even if we're not lucky enough to win. Keep up the awesome work, we'll look forward to your next release

Honestly, the sheer volume of entries we get would be too difficult for us to keep track of. We've looked into keeping track in the past but you'd be surprised how many entrants (for this sale) were people we've never seen before.

A tracking system would help your chances by restricting past winners. However, that is assuming we have a closed system. Because we are constantly taking in new entrants, your chances of winning are mostly diminished by the influx of enthusiasts rather than past winners.

We've tried several distribution methods (FCFS, web shop, hybrid raffles) and we have found our current model the most effective while giving us ample bandwidth to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

As a fellow artisan, this experience has me thinking about my own distribution system...
I enjoy your designs Keycollectiv, thanks for the raffle.

Thank you kindly.  :)

I wanted to add one more detail. For every repeat winner out there that is announcing their invoice on the thread, there are many more people who simply never post. In other words, our view of who the winners are, is skewed. I would venture to say close to half the people who received an invoice tonight are names I've never seen in the community.

My first raffle but I didn't win. Really love to have a banana haha. Maybe next time I can get a KK keycap. Thank you KK for the raffle, it's really fun to watch everyone's reactions haha.
Congrats to all winners :D

That's really crappy. 2 snackey raffles and a sushkey raffle and not a single win. I'm about to throw in the towel on the artisan game. I think it's time for a fire sale

If it makes you feel better, I entered about a dozen before I got a win in Suited Ups last sale.....hm maybe that might make you feel worse actually

Awesome raffle! Can't wait to get the sleeve and keychains, too! :D

Thanks for everything, KK. Keep up the awesome designs!
