I would frame the hell out of that album. Not into metal, but it looks so sick.

It really is awesome. The record is stunning to, black metal and space works so well.

Any funk listeners? Vulfpeck discography came in today and gah these guys jam so hard!

Couple of my favorite tracks from them.  The singer on 1612 is not a regular member of the band but every song he's done with them is freakin amazing.

Got this in early this week, just forgot to snap a photo. Haven't been able to listen to it properly yet though due to TT issues, but soon I'm hoping.

Great album, the inserts on the vinyl are so cool too! I had the reissue in my amazon wishlist for like months and when I finally decided to pull the trigger it was all sold out :(

Oh and on an unrelated note I discovered a download code inside my Clipping album so for anyone who wants it

They're experimental hip-hop.

After a lot of searching, I finally found the last 2 records for my Woods of Ypres collection, Woods III and IV, the later being my rarest and by far THE most expensive record I have in my collection.

Woods of Ypres are such a good band, listen to 5, its not super hardcore black metal, its definitely got some easier listening on it

New album day! Got this in today, Tycho's Awake album remixed by various other artists. A really relaxing album so far. Think I prefer the original album over this one though, Not saying this one is bad though!

It's actually a debut carbon dc and I love it! I was debating between the debut and the Rega RP1 and in every thread I read they seemed to be reccommended equally. I ended up going with the debut because it came in purple :p Oh and I liked the fact that it had the on switch underneath the player, makes the entire thing look a lot cleaner.

I did read that the RP1 has better upgradeability than the debut, but not so much to give it that much of an advantage imo.

Just sharing my favorite two recordings as of right now, especially the Sonata in B minor everybody should have listened to at least once in their lifetime.

I am dissapointed you guys dont have bad ass slip mats.

I have a fun one, but it doesn't really fit on my table since it has a tapered slipmat currently.  So it just looks too small and exposes the raw metal beneath.  :-/

Ohhh I don't know the Rachmaninoff, followed by a Liszt Sonata recommendation....

Romantic music is my favourite. I love Chopin, and am trying to re-learn one of his Ballads.

I thought it could've been the casual piano in the pictures I have shared. D:
On the topic of Rachmaninoff, I've been playing the second concerto for while now and finally manage to scretch the first 8 chords
with my small hands. That dezime is INSANE.

Do you play the piano?

Go figure, I didn't even notice it in the picture.  :))

Yes! I played for twelve years before stopping around the time I began university. Trying to learn Chopin Ballade No.1 which I gave up on before I quit. I also just bought a book of his nocturnes. I loved playing those.

Those chords look disgusting. Why would you do that to yourself, learning Rachmaninoff with small hands? :P

Ahh the good old G minor, I hated learning that piece because I came right from a few Bach pieces so I couldn't keep a nice rubato to save my life!
Have you ever gotten the chance to look into the Etudes?
Here is my favorite recording of my favorite etude:

By the way, if you happen to enjoy Rubinstein rather than Horowitz (:D) I have
literally every recording of Rubinstein's playing that was released so if you're looking for the legendary Rach 2 with
Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra I could surely help you out.

Got my El Huervo too! The clear vinyl with the matching slipmat underneath looks really nice in motion. Artbook is pretty fun too

Loving the tracks "All About You" and "Irreversible". Extremely relaxing album throughout

Also any fans of El Heurvo might be interested, there's a kickstarter going right now for a pressing of the original Hotline Miami soundtrack :thumb:

In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

So to start off, 2016 (aka this year) turned out is the year were I start to listen to vinyl.

And when I saw this thread on Friday I decided to go out on Saturday and get some "new" vinyl.

And so I did. I will also share all the other ones I have with you.

Sadly I don't own any coloured vinyl, but I will try and get a reservation for the new Kvelertak album!

So to start off I'll show you the older ones I have.

Jimi Hendrix Experience Smash Hits (slightly scratched sadly, but no warping at all.)

I also managed to get a russian print of Led zeppelin, which I found really cool

the last of the old vinyls I own is this History of Rock one, which also the first vinyl I bought.

Moving on to what my "collection" mostly consists off which are newer vinyl.

To start we have Sleep's album Dopesmoker, this is the Deluxe reissue which also has a live version of Holy Mountain.

The artwork is beautiful.

Steven Wilson: Hand. Cannot. Erase.

Steven Wilson: The Raven That Refused To Sing

Lamb of God: Hourglass 6 LP collection

Led Zeppelin II

Led Zeppelin III (This one is really cool as the reproduced the original cover which has a spinning disc that you can see through the holes)

Gojira: L'enfant Sauvage
