Damn first time I'm having such a fast delivery from something ordered in the US. 2.5 days for the keyset to come from SF to France. Looks like it will arrive next week. hehe

The sad part is that I won't be at home the whole week to pick it up. :'(

Sigh... I'm going to be so mad if USPS lost my package. Still no tracking update yet.    just says departed San Jose...

I opened a case # up with USPS to see what's going on. Most packages, even first class, are delivered within 3 days in my location. We're now going on day 5. Maybe I'm just overly excited and / or anxious and I should just be patient... It's just hard when there aren't any tracking updates and they're 2 days late.  :blank:

Anyone else have this happen and end up getting their package anyways?

Mine is still stuck at the shipping label created. No update of it even departing San Jose...

I should have just physically picked it up... It would have been worth the extra 1 hour in traffic. Instead it's been 12 days since it "shipped".

I wouldn't worry at all though I'm sure our situations will get sorted out eventually either by USPS or CtrlAlt.

Here's to waiting patiently Awhitedev!  :thumb:

Also opening up a dispute case is probably a good idea. I'll try that and see where it gets me.

spoke to cody last night

he is gonna look in to it today for you and get sorted whatever needs to be sorted

So it looks like opening that case with USPS paid off for me. They found my package between yesterday morning and now and it looks like it showed up at my local USPS an hour ago. Maybe they expedited it there? Or perhaps someone at my local office "found" it. Either way, I'm happy now :) That feeling of when you almost lose your HyperFuse set...  :-\  :-X
When I tried to open a case it didn't let me since it said by tracking number had no insurance attached to it so I couldn't make a claim. I think I was just trying it under the wrong section. Mind linking me or pming the link where you filed a claim?

I called 1-800-275-8777. The automated system they have is a bit annoying... I stumbled through it until I got a hold of a real person. I had to provide my tracking number... and they filed the case for me over the phone asking for details about the package: who shipped it, what size is it, etc. It didn't take long after that for them to figure it out... I'd say less than 12 hours.

Just gave USPS a call. They couldn't help me out at all since they don't have record of ever receiving anything.  :(

Either the set isn't packed and it is just a tracking label made that has been sitting for 2 weeks or something got lost on a truck/at the post office.

My set has arrived! This was unexpected and totally made my Friday :D

Sadly I'm missing a 1.25x control? There are a ton of extra keys here - way more than I was actually expecting - but can't currently fit on my filco :(

The set is loooovely. The rumours of GMK dropping their standards were, it would appear, false.

Awesome. Thanks. I'm not worried about not getting it, just a bit frustrating since I thought I would have it by now since I ordered in the first 50 and I got my tracking 2 week ago.

Also bunny a cyan on purple enter would have been a perfect colored accent to it.  :thumb:

I have to say the set looks way better in real life :) I love it, I didn't had the time to check all the caps as I spend some quality time with my daughter, but so far no issues here, the caps are perfect.
I only have one MX board with me so I will try and swap the caps for some potatos :) I have a plan for this set and a nice SPRiT 60% but I don't have it yet:)
Again thanks Bunny and Cody  :thumb:

I *really* underestimated how good the purple on white keys would look.
I'd love an entire set, alphas+mods, in purple on white.

I was just thinking that, either USPS is having some serious issues lately or people have just been more vocal about it. Maybe because we are all so hyped for these keys  :))

Hyperfuse on GON, it's all over for everyone else not owning one  :o :o :o :o .

Even though I know it's been shipped from CTRL/ALT weeks ago, still have not seen it yet and the Mrs swore she'll let me know if anything from them arrives at my front door.

No one should ever worry about receiving their own sparkling, fresh set of Hyperfuse's here on Geekhack.

Cody is in charge so everyone shall get their's in due course, it's just the waiting that peels away every hardened key-collectors nerves.  It's harrowing and fraught with such negativity that you'll be crawling the walls in your asylum cell, begging for immediate release  :-\ .

The greatest emotion is getting that special call letting you know that your Hyperfuses, are now waiting for your return  8) .

Dear Ctrl Alt Team.

I represent to all the Vietnamese users  whom take part in 3 groupbuys you guys opened : Toxic, Hyper Fuse and JKT. As I know, the toxic groupbuy was closed longtime ago and all the keycaps were sent out. Lots of users on Geekhack say that they received, but nothing to us. And as be told by all Vietnamese friend who joined in the Ctrl Alt ‘s groupbuys, they haven’t received any keycaps from you.

In Hyper fuse groupbuy, I hold a mass groupbuy for Vietnamese users and make a big order from your site so I want to know exactly when you sent out my keycaps. I am  the customer joined in your groupbuy  like anyone else on Geekhack, I have to be served equality. If I keep receive the lukewarm like you treated before, on 11/09/2015 GMT +7, I will reported my problem to Paypal and asking for charge back.

I and my Vietnamese friends took so much time to wait for Toxic keycaps and we can’t take much more of waiting for nothing on Hyper and JKT.

Best regard,

Here it is on my silenced Novatouch... painted the case to color-coordinate :)

I couldn't put the brobot on it though because of the square stem :( I don't know that I want to dremel it ;)

Just FYI a lot of us have not received Hyperfuse, don't think you are the last ones.
I'm back.

Best regard,

I'm not sure if you're saying they haven't received their Toxic or if you're just talking about Hyperfuse.

Many of the users have not yet received their Hyperfuse and they have clearly stated they're shipping them out in a particular order and that there are still many orders that need to be shipped...but I'm sure if you wanted to give up your sets, there are probably more than a few people that missed out and would take them off your hands for you..

People need to learn to have patience...

To be specific,

We haven't received anything nor get any estimated shipping date from any group buys involving CtrlAlt (or Bunny and co. for that matter). That includes Toxic and Calm Depth (started by CalmB4tehPwn, eventually taken over by Bunny). People are restless since Toxic is ~1 year old and Calm Depth is ~2 years old and we haven't received anything. Who knows if JTK or Hyperfuse will be any different?

Ok.  Well that is a problem.  Have you contacted them about it?

I would suspect a customs issue more than anything else.

They have a good reputation on here but if you don't raise an issue with them, there is no way to figure out what went wrong.

Have you contacted them via the support website they where quite quick to respond to me? as for toxic I can't speak for them but a lot of the toxic keys where missing due to the old proxy used basically just threw them in a box without being bagged, otherwise I myself am still waiting on parts for toxic so you are not the only ones so its most defiantly not Vietnamese people being shafted its more luck of the draw, in regards to toxic and how it went a little pear shaped, definatly contact bunny though through the website.

Got my set! I missed typing on GMK, so slick.

The mods, some of them, were a bit scuffed. The Tab/Enter/Shift key has some noticeable marks, the alphas seem fine

The most recent response from Cody were that they can't complete our toxic order because of missing kits from the original proxy.

An example of group buy participation from the Vietnamese community is as follow. Hyperfuse participation is much larger than Toxic's.

While we are in no position to demand or receive preferential treatment, we do think that shipping a large order like this should be given some priority, or at least an estimated shipping date.

Communication has also been erratic. PMs are most of the time unanswered, the above response were acquired only through tmk1207 directly quoting Cody on the unreplied PMs. Meanwhile we haven't receive much if any information regarding Calm Depths.

People do fear that "something" would also happen to Hyperfuse, or whether we would receive any keycaps at all.

Best regard,

no need to make a chargeback, just pm me your paypal details and i will refund you, im not going to be spoken to that way

we have posted clear and constant updates

from the moment hyperfuse has landed, we have posted pics from receiving it, to starting the sorting process and shipping, ive been posting numbers of sets going out and still to pack

with regards to toxic, of the remaining 20% or so of orders, we have posted full info on the issue and taking care of it

and with calm depths, everyone who contacted us as requested has had their sets shipped, with one or 2 outstanding that i know of that had contacted us recently

i have responded to any and all pms from you, treating you more than fairly, but it is clear to me from your posts that because of an issue you have with someone i work with, you are looking to cause problems
