Did he message the winners of the mini-raffle, or were you one of the ones that reserved one before he said anything about that?

I was able to reserve a set from the bunch that got refunded. No idea about any mini-raffle :)

Cool, appreciate the response.

I got my set today and I am very happy  :D

Thank you very much Bunny and the rest of the CTRL ALT Team for making this happen  :thumb:

Not a single key was missing. Some caps have minor scratches, but mostly on the side, so I don't see it when I look down on my board. The only thing that is slighty bothering me is my ISO Enter, that has a noticable scratch right above the legend.

If there is a spare ISO Enter that nobody needs, I'd love to buy it  :thumb:

Here are some potatoes. Sorry, they are really bad and I'd like to apologize for not doing this awesome set justice.

All the keys of the set.

Standard setup on an ISO board.

Hyperfuse with some extra purple swag.

Hyperfuse with back lighting, the original Hyperfuse cyan cable and a purple Brobot  :thumb:

(notice that some keys let some light through e.g. the winkeys)

I've got a few scratched keys, and a few with some color/swirling issues.

One of the Winkeys has a scratch on the top:
110744-0

The R2 'End' key has a scratch on the user-facing edge:
110746-1

The number row '5' has a purple smugde on the user-facing edge:
110747-2

And the 'Prt Sc' key has a scratch/mixing imperfection on the user-facing edge:
110749-3

I can overlook the Prt Sc blemish the most, and my TA set has some similar blemishes which I chalked up to the custom colors for the set, but the 5 key and the scratches are particularly annoying.

Is there a way to get some replacement keys?

The scratches will always occur when you want to buy these sets as cheaply as possible and then they are all delivered in large bags to be sorted by Cody.

You remembered the TA Group Buy run at MassDrop, they were all delivered in trays yet the keys did get scratched hence you lose either way when it comes to shipping huge numbers of plastic keys across the world.

In the end it comes down to pure luck that some scumbag at the postal distribution warehouse, didn't drive over your keys in his forklift which happens when they deal with millions of packages daily.

Has anyone tried buffing the scratches out?  It looks like plastic leaving some behind on the outside of the keycap which should come off...vs a scratch so deep you see the color underneath the top layer...

I do not have HF yet, but I did get TA, and had a scratch running along the top of a Win key. I was able to buff it out, and can't even see it anymore. And really, the "buffing" was mostly me just using it.

+1 most of my TA blemishes disappeared with a bit of rubbing and/or use

Same here, My TA set had few key caps with some white blemishes on them. I was able to rub them off or make them barely noticeable with my nail without damaging the key caps.

Put my Hyperfuse on my new keyboard to use in the meantime while I wait for the replacement F6 looks nice only problem I have but unsure if this is a common thing or my problem the backspace and spacebar feel super mushy as though they are getting caught on the upstroke is this a common thing with GMK and gateron switches? :X

Do you have costar stabs? I've had this happen with new keycap sets on boards with costar stabs, because the alignment of the stab insert and the guide was ever so slightly off. To fix it, I filed off some material from the sides of the insert using a nail file, to add a little bit of wiggle room.

No they use cherry stabs :X to my best wording it feels like when you upstroke the stem rubs the side of the switch Ill have to have a look to see what I can do, was just hoping someone might know thanks anyway :) might shave a little off just to be sure!

Keep working the key for a bit and you should notice a wear pattern that will indicate the problem area.

i had a very similar feeling on a keyboard with gateron clears, the backspace in particular felt like it was mushy and came back up in slow motion, but wasnt caught on anything, i put it down to the weight of the springs and just havent played around with it since

Humm I might just switch out the backspace and space bar to a heavy spring and use a cherry switch instead for those two to see if that will fix the issue otherwise everything seems to be fine, also to note I did just check with a SP space bar and that is not mush at all :X might just be GMK not liking gateron :X

Ahh I also have the clear gateron although the springs are 68g so I didn't think it would of been that.

Could it be the stem gateron use, might try swapping a gateron black into it then a cherry red stem to see if that helps if not just replace the entire switch, I'm also wondering my stab I got with the pcb (Sprit) did not have the little bend in it do you think that would make a difference? :X also sorry for all the question first time with gmk anything :X

as i say, i didnt spend much time with the issue, but ive certainly only experienced it with gateron clears, so lemme know what you find out switches things around
