Any chance of an update on the shipping Bunny? I can't wait to get my set.  :D

I will be continuing shipping for Hyper Fuse shortly as SA Retro comes to a conclusion.
New bags have arrived. Shipping will speed up now that I'm finally setup at home instead of my office too.

Just to reiterate:

If your order contains items from the JTK group buy, bunnylake will be shipping the JTK items and I will be shipping the Hyper Fuse items.

You'll get a tracking number from me for the Hyper Fuse items, if you are concerned about your JTK items please contact bunnylake.
I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING RIGHT NOW, WILL BE BACK AROUND SOON

Glad to hear this Cody.
I joined this buy with other Malaysian GH member, and we have a few sets of Hack'd and Hyperfuse ordered plus a keychain for myself.
I hope you have the keychain in stock!  :))

Looking forward to receive these most anticipated sets of the year  ;D

You are not late ever; there will be more GBs for nice stuff coming soon. More people are involved now than ever in running GBs and designing sets, so you could not join in a better time. Even, you could opt now to go the Topre, the BS, the Cherry and even the ALPS route, so welcome.

Is it really too much to ask that you finish up shipping these sets?

I'm annoyed by the fact that you prioritized 2x100 set orders who are simply looking to flip for profit before you finished processing individual orders. One of these resellers is putting his sets up for sale tomorrow, which means people who are suddenly interested in hyperfuse now will probably receive their sets before me, someone who paid 7 months and 8 days ago.

Since the shipment arrived on July 20th these orders have been processing at a rate of like 4 sets a day. Was the man-hours put into sorting really worth the cost-savings of receiving all the keys in unsorted bags? Does it really hurt to have 2+ people working on the processing or something because I feel like I've been totally forgotten here and my desire to receive my product after 7 months is like an inconvenience to you guys or something.

I really think you underestimate the time it takes to sort and ship. This isn't Cody's full time job plus he has a daughter to take care of. He is one man.

Also it doesn't matter whether you ordered one set or 100. Just because you ordered one set doesn't make you more important than the person who ordered 100.

You haven't been forgotten but you are being extremely impatient.  Cody is moving as fast as he can.

Well, maybe that needs to change, especially since lots of folks on this board are quite sensitive about people flipping keycaps for profit. Personally, I couldn't care less, but I absolutely understand the frustration since we're going on three months with many individual orders remaining unfulfilled (myself being among them).

Heh, every board I've intended to put them on I've ended up selling. My current plan is to use them on my Novatouch, but that's probably going to change at least one or two more times, depending on when my caps ultimately arrive.

It's not really that big of an issue unless there is a limited run, hence why people get upset that it happens to artisans because people are buying out the lot to flip into profit. I also don't necessarily believe it's that severe because that 100 set order is going to help out 100 more people that missed out on the group buy and are more than willing to pay the small up-charge otherwise they wouldn't be expressing their interest. They're just sending out based on order number, perhaps orders over 10 sets should be dealt separately.

Bunny and others have pushed for people to support the original GB as much as possible. It makes sense for those that put up the money to support the GB to get their orders before people are able to just go purchase them from a store without going through the GB process. I understand the store owner is also supporting the GB but this isn't really a normal supply/delivery chain type scenario. Nothing to do with this GB in particular. It's always been an issue.

I agree with you that initial group buy supporters should receive their set first but at the same time the people who are just buying it now are paying at around a 30% markup. There really isn't a clean cut solution in my opinion because the buyers who order in bulk are putting up a substantial amount of money for their orders to come last.

the buyers who order in bulk are putting up a substantial amount of money for their orders to come last.

Very simple to resolve in the future. When the buy launches, state up front that bulk orders for resale are welcome, but priority will be given to individuals and proxies when it's time to process and ship the final product. Anyone interested in doing a bulk purchase should contact Bunny directly instead of ordering through the site so as not to get an order number that might mess with single set purchases. This way, too, maybe there could be some sort of small discount on orders of 25 or more.

How discouraging it must be to try and do things no one else is doing for the community (ctrlalt doing the buys they do and in this case binge for buying up so many sets with no guarantee of return on investment) and always end up being criticized. I would just say screw it and quit.

It is true things can always be improved but the way I see it ctrlalt is trying to do things the best they can in the best way possible with the people they have, we don't always like it when that means we have to wait longer etc but ctrlalt always delivers.

If anything ctrlalt tries too hard to give everyone what they want and that leads to overload, poor cody, he must dream of sorting keycaps.

tl;dr: it sucks having to wait but what if the alternative was never having the possibility to get these things to start with?

tl;dr: it sucks having to wait but what if the alternative was never having the possibility to get these things to start with?

+1

So many negative opinions floating around here for a group buy that has gone amazingly well. I can't imagine the feeling of spending days sorting key caps only to come online and see people complain about how you're doing it wrong...  :(  People who would never dream of tackling the same task, no less.

How discouraging it must be to try and do things no one else is doing for the community (ctrlalt doing the buys they do and in this case binge for buying up so many sets with no guarantee of return on investment) and always end up being criticized. I would just say screw it and quit.

For a moment, I thought I was reading the GH60 thread for my daily dose of schadenfreude;)

Big orders subsidized the extra keys and made a high MOQ group buy happen. I don't care if they got their orders first, before mine, or last. If someone buys from a reseller and gets their set before I do, I still paid less, feel good about supporting the group buy, and ensured I didn't miss out. When I get my order, relative to others, is irrelevant. Save your salt for group buys which go pear-shaped and where no one is getting anything for their money, not for group buys which went spectacularly and were run by the most respected group buy team on GH.

++1 to Spam and Hoff

I would like my caps to be delivered already, but oh well.

Everyone places and order and then the wait begins. People have other things to do in their lives besides running these buys and some people seem to forget that.

I get that you paid for something to be made and sent to you, but there was nothing saying you will get it in X amount of days. Even if that was the case, **** happens.

Binge also put up all that money up front to re-sell later but with no guarantee of selling them all.
I though we made MOQ because of some of the big orders anyway?

Either way, people need to relax.

man i shouldnt of read this

but i have 2 mins whilst im waiting on something

guys, to us, a vendor order is no different than any other order, its not that we prioritised them, its that we dont prioritise anyone, they made an order just like everyone else, we got to their order, we shipped it, end of story, they paid their money like everyone else, nobody is getting special treatment, what they do with their order once they have it, is up to them, it has no bearing at all on how we treat them, we are grateful for each and every order, but there always has to be a first and a last

this will be my one and only post for the best part of a week

for info on why please see here

I can understand your frustration because as much as you see me as a vendor I am an active consumer and GB contributor, but I can assure you the GB organizers are doing everything possible to see this through.  Like Bunny mentioned I was handled when my order came up in the queue.

Please understand that I contacted Bunny day 1 of this GB, asked to order 100, paid as soon as payments were available, and we even tried to organize it so GMK would send the 100 sets unsorted to me instead of to his people.  I would then wait until a re-arranged date to give GB participants a chance to get their sets before I sold at retail.  GMK would not allow that.  The initial sorting of the bulk import of GMK had to be done by CTRL[ALT] and there was no way unless I hopped on a plane and quit my day-job that I'd be able to help Cody with the orders.

The stress of this work on Cody is significant.  I love the guy dearly and will appreciate him even more when your set is organized and mailed.  Please understand that most of us have close family and friends helping us get through making the sets available to the general population.  You are assured your set will not cost you any more.  I think the GB price is fantastic, and I wish I had the infrastructure CTRL[ALT] has to make that price available to customers who did not want to participate in the GB.  Unfortunately I do not.

Hope you have cooled down a bit since your post.  Hope to see you posting around more :)
