There was never a Norde or Nordeuk kit. This was either Russian Cyrillic or (with an addon kit) US QWERTY.

Will try to do an update asap, but we only just got R2 samples and they're in the queue to get tested.
At this point I'm actually afraid of setting a new estimated delivery date. I really hope we can approve these R2 samples and then get into the production queue.

i wouldn't have any hope for q1, gmk toxic has had it's colors approved back in october and T0mb3ry doubted the set would make it in q1...

We've finally received, tested and approved our new sample for RAL 3005 (Wine Red)! This means we're now waiting for GMK to give us an estimation on production.

Find the new test results below:

A negative DELTA L* value means it's oversaturated and a positive DELTA L* value means it's undersaturated.
I also tried to capture the differences between R1 (right) and R2 (left) in a picture, but it's extremely hard to photograph. I personally can't see much difference on the picture, but in reality it's noticeable. The R1 sample seems a bit washed out (which the tests confirmed with positive DELTA L* of almost 4). The R2 sample doesn't have this 'washed out' look and has a nicer, richer and darker red. Just like I intended it. The tests confirm this with a positive DELTA L* of 2.

It seems like I was misunderstanding the test results a bit.
Nebulant just explained it to me:
"In CIELab color, L* is lightness. It's a 3 dimensional color space, L* is like the Z axis representing lightness. a* and b* are the color components, the further they are from origin, the more saturated a color is."

This doesn't change anything. The test results still confirm that R2 sample is more accurate.
Even though the differences are minor, I just want to make sure the colours of the set match the RAL colours as much as possible.

I don't think it's depressing to wait a long time. It makes staying engaged in the hobby more difficult, anymore it's just scan GH every couple days rather than trying to interact daily. I blame this on the 1.5 year wait for anything new (and growing).

I've just received my set and I thought it would be fun to recreate one of the renders (not the same desk unfortunately). Bare in mind it looks different in different lighting/screens/pictures etc. But I've compared the set to the approved samples, and it's spot on. Very happy with how this came out and I'm looking forward to everyone receiving their sets!
