With all these other GMK sets (that ran before Dolch) being pushed back further and further, I can only imagine that we'll be delayed by several months as well.

For completion's sake, here are a few photos of the finalized accent color samples that I *just* received in the mail!

I know this is not necessarily indicative of news of the set having been made or shipping anytime soon (as GMK's current backlog is still long before we get to Dolch R5, but I hope this is something exciting to look forward to for folks who have generously supported this group-buy.

GMK Evil Dolch, which ran a month before Dolch R5, had an update a month ago with an estimated shipping in September.

GMK Pono and GMK Minimal R2 which ran before and around the same time, respectively, have estimates for Dec 2020/Jan 2021.

I assume these orders are much larger, so Oct-Nov would be a close, educated guess. Will confirm with any details if I receive any official updates.

I have unfortunate news to share that we got a new update from GMK, stating that the target ship date is for the end of the month January 2022.

Sorry for the inconvenience - it seems our initial estimate was far too ambitious but the current situation with supply shortage and backlog is worse than anticipated.

edit (late Dec 2021): target ship date - end of February - current delays are due to resin shortages.

Minimal R2 already in transit to vendors so I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make.

Unfortunately sets running in the same month or close to each other does not mean they are necessarily close in the production queue.

Some sets can be made faster than others, or other times they are submitted more slowly, maybe due to color matching, or pretty much any other factor in logistics. That's not information privy to us. Sets are independent of each other in the production process.

As you can see, EU sets are currently shipping to customers from the GB already. For the rest of sets, they are en route to the respective regional vendors, after which they will be sorted and shipped to GB entrants. Make sure to be on the mailing list or social media for your preferred vendor for the possibility of extras purchase.

I can't wait myself to see the set in person. The custom accent just looks superb, and I'm sure it'll be even better IRL. Admittedly, R5 bottom row also looks fantastic on this classic set.

For those awaiting a NA / ProjectKeyboard update -- sets will be at their warehouse very shortly. Customers will be given some time to change addresses, while sets are unpacked and are prepared for individual customer packaging -- if you've moved or require changing your shipping address, I highly suggest submitting a request for a change now/ASAP.

Sets will ship the week after next.

Oblo has dolch in stock, though it isn't the same kitting as this run. It's more about NorDE compatibility, though it does have ansi support.
