G400 since 2011, but a MX518 for years before that.  After upgrading to the G400 I gave the MX518 to a friend who still uses it with no problems!

I still have my MX518!

Somewhere.

SteelSeries Rival 100.  Love it for CSGO.

In the past, I've used a Microsoft Wireless Mouse, Diamondback, MX518, Kinzu, G700, Microsoft Optical Mouse, G400s, Zowie FK2, Sensei RAW.  I've had a lot.

Still rocking a Logitech G5.  Looking at picking up a SteelSeries Rival 300.  I'd played with the Rival Optical a bit and was going to get it but saw the 300 come out which seems to have fixed some of the problems with the rubber sides.  Seemed very comfortable for me.

I went from Mx518 to a Razer DeathAdder and now the Zowie FK1. Every step felt like an upgrade, I'm happy.
I might have used the DeathAdder longer if it wasn't for the horrendous driver software. The Zowie just does what it should in perfection, with DPI selection on the mouse itself.

Cyborg R.A.T 3. I've seen the higher end 5 and 7 models get some hate due to unreliability, but I've been using the 3 for almost 4 years now and it's still going strong.

I like to rest my palm on my mice so it's wide, flat surface is great and the thumb rest is really comfy. On the fly DPI can be useful in some games, especially when flying is involved - twitch adjustments and manoeuvres are easier with higher DPI (although i should probably get a HOTAS).

What's the size on the Zowie?  I tried the DA but it felt too small - probably mostly not tall enough for my palm grip.  The Steelseries Rival felt pretty solid but with all the problems I'm hearing on the 300 with the drivers, I've held off.

I was experiencing occasional hand aching when using my Zowie EC1-A, so I switched about a week ago to a SteelSeries Rival I've had for a few months but hadn't used. I find the Rival much more comfortable. I'm not sure if the difference is size, shape, or finish, but the Rival is my new favorite.

About the same size in width and length, but lower and symmetric.

I can imagine using it for the desktop, but it would just be an additional device since I cannot replace my mouse in games...

Pretty much exclusively using the CST L-Trac CST2545W at home. It's the track ball with the scroll barrel at the top. Only time I don't like it is for video games. Although I'm kind of getting used to it for Fallout 4. I like it so much, I'm considering getting one to replace the CM Storm Spawn I use at work.

Mionix Castor, currently. Prefer it to the Naos 7000, but still not entirely satisfied. I haven't found a suitable replacement to my OG MX518 / G400 yet that I'm entirely happy with.

Maybe I'll check out the Zowie FK1. Haven't tried anything by them since the very first mouse they released. EC1 & 2, or some such.

Symmetric.  Damn.  I'll have to re-check the Zowie site.  I know they make a non-symmetric one.

And I can't find any news on where it will be sold in the UK either...

I am big fan of the logitech mx500 shape. Have had in the last 10 years a mx500, mx510, mx518 (1600dpi and 1800dpi version), g400 with anglesnapping, g400 without anglesnapping and two g400s. I have to say the g400s keeps the legacy the mx500, but I might try the new g502 since all reviews indicate it is a great successor of the g400s.

The MX500 shape is classic. Unfortunately I have little kid sized hands so for me, it's kind of like moving around a giant block of wood lol (which is why I prefer the shape of the MX300/G1/etc.). Nevertheless, it's still really comfortable and of course, Logitech's build quality can't be topped.

I'm still using my trusty MX518. Going strong for about 5 years now, and used an older MX518 before that. To me, it's pretty much the perfect mouse except for the fact that you can't turn off angle snapping, but it's not a huge issue since I generally don't play FPS games. I will probably try to get a G400 (updated MX518) without angle snapping when Overwatch comes out.

The main thing I love about the MX518/G400 design is actually the small button right above the mousewheel. I use it for common binds in games all the time and I find the position vastly more convenient than an extra side button. Sadly, I'm not aware of any modern mice with a similarly located button.

Been using this for quite some time now:

I originally bought a white one...then the middle click started doing double and triple clicks...
I use the finger buttons on top so much, that I got a black one to replace it.
Guess i should see about maybe sending the white one in to get fixed ><'

I recently got a Logitech G602. It is nice, but it is way too big and I prefer ambidextrous mice. I just ordered a SteelSeries Sensei Wireless and it should be here Wednesday. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I don't get the need for a wired mouse. I much prefer wireless.

I liked the random Logitech wireless mouse I had years ago when I had a wireless keyboard to go with it because I had my PC set up on my projector, but sitting at a desk I much prefer wired keyboard and mice to avoid the battery usage and connectivity issues I had when the batteries got low.

trying out the Logitech G100S. it's way different from anything i've used before.
i'm still getting used to it, but i'm positive about it so far. i will at least keep it as a backup.
i notice that (in fps games) i sometimes over- or undershoot a bit. not sure if it's the shape, sensor-positioning, the weight or its sensor performance..
so yeah, gonna take a bit more time to get used to it :)

Buttons on the top in the front corners are an underrated mouse feature IMO, especially if you use fingertip grip and therefore lose all lateral control while moving your thumb to use side buttons, but even if you don't. Very underrated feature; shame it's seldom (if ever) found on a mouse that is decent in other regards.

Anyhow, personally, I usually use a CST L-Trac R2 trackball 99% of the time. On the very rare occasions that I feel like playing some FPS, I'll put it aside in favor of a Team Scorpion Zealot Jr. Occasionally, if I'm going somewhere with my laptop, I'll bring my Hades H8 Phorcys, since the additional buttons over the ZJR are convenient for document work and web browsing. Have a few other mice around the cabinets as well, but they don't really have roles for me at the moment.

For me, I like the Avior more. I've tried both and the right bump where your pinky and ring finger should go feels just off and I experienced my pinky sliding over my mat with the naos. But I am predisposed towards any mouse that mimics the intellimouse, like the Avior. That shape is the best shape ever invented for a mouse imho.

I tried the Naos 7000 and Castor side by side. Preferred the Castor due to being a bit smaller, lighter and more suited to lifting. The Castor is essentially a hybridization of certain aspects of the Naos and Avior.

The Naos has a much more pronounced finger rest for ring/pinky than the Castor, which is quite subtle in comparison.

Both have an excellent braided cable that is not stiff. Similar to removing the core from paracord. I find this a serious problem with most braided mice. Both mice share essentially the same sensor and hate the Artisan Raiden pads I recently got to replace my old Hien Kien's, but I anticipated this and also got Shidens which are fine.

I tried the Naos 7000 and Castor side by side. Preferred the Castor due to being a bit smaller, lighter and more suited to lifting. The Castor is essentially a hybridization of certain aspects of the Castor and Avior.

I've seen a lot of praise for the Castor. I'm sure I'll pick one up at some point. The specs look great.

I need to try it as well but I'm afraid I don't like the shape. The Avior being a "intellimouse on steroids" IMHO is so awesome.
