Custom Poker mods
« on: Mon, 11 February 2013, 01:50:09 »
This is elton5354's poker that I finished a week or two ago. It's a good blank slate for some nice keycaps, and perhaps a duck poker case or one of these when it's finished. I have a video of how the WASD backlit was done that I'll upload later.

modded with
  • mx red main switches
  • mx white modifiers
  • mx blue numbers with 65g springs
  • mx brown FN key
  • red LEDs
  • WASD LED backlit
  • custom plate
  • custom spacebar wire
  • plate's stabilizer switch modified

what it started out with
  • mx red switches
  • no plate
  • blue LEDs

unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Actually, I'm not taking any more requests for these custom builds if it involves desoldering the whole keyboard first :p . I already have too many pending, and no time for the next 2 months.

And for the record, elton only paid $35 for the desoldering, mods, and soldering. This also included all parts except for the switches, which he sent to me.

That reminds me. Did we still have unfinished discussion in PMs? I can't even keep track anymore.

Nice use of LEDs. I like switched choices as well.
