DSA just looks so much better on small keyboards, and since I'll be getting this set for either planck or JD40 or both. Waiting will be necessary and it will be worth it.

Barring any unforeseen obstacles, I will definitely do this. I have had requests for blanks in just about every set so it would ultimately be more efficient to set up blanks as individual keys so people can make their own sets however they'd like.

Just a thought, but note I don't have any idea on what the process is of going from IC to GB with SP. But if there's already this much attention your keyset is getting why don't you start the GB half a month earlier (first week of Nov) and then just let it run for an extra half a month so it will still finish at the same time anyway but with an extra 2 weeks or so that people could get in on it. I haven't really thought this through so I might be missing a big thing on why you shouldn't do this, but if you plan to have the GB period end mid december (so 1 month after mid nov) then having an extra 2 weeks could ensure that everything would tip.

Personally I say just wait a bit on the IC and make sure that your set has a strong following. In the mean time keep contact with Melissa about SP's schedule because if you haven't heard, Granite round 2 was just pushed back another month because of all the orders at PMK. So even if you decided to start earlier we still wouldn't get the keys for a long while. I say start the group buy either very end of november or early december. Just my 2 cents though.

Interested in this set, but there are a few nitpicks that would really bother me.

1) The 1.25x mods are super/hyper/meta, but the 1.5x mods are ctrl/alt/win. I think we should pick one or the other, or include both options for both packs (standard mods and adaptor pack). This would extend to the JD40 and Planck boards, which also use ctrl/alt/win currently. Not sure if this is partially a limitation of what tooling SP has available, but it would be nice to at least extend the ctrl/alt/win option to the 1.25x users. Currently, my best option for getting those mods is buying two JD40 sets. If you do decide to add the ctrl/alt/win to the mods pack, it would also be great for 60% users if you could add a function key as well.

2) Your numpad enter is symbol only, and your ANSI enter is text only (and like my first point, the ANSI boards say 'return' while other layouts say 'enter').

I like it, it feels well-designed, but it doesn't feel 100% cohesive, and it's the kind of stuff that would bother me were I to buy a set.
