Title: OnePlus One discussion
Post by: Glissant on Thu, 12 June 2014, 13:31:38

Changing the thread to be an off-topic thread for talking about the phone/invites.

I just got an invite today, so it is possible to get one even if you don't think it is. I would suggest being a little active at https://forums.oneplus.net/ . Or you could wait for me to get my invites to share. I think everybody gets three invites or something, but don't quote me on that.

So what do you like most about the Oneplus One?

My favorite things about the phone would be the specs.

exitfire401, completely depends on the person I get the invite from, but if I get an invite you will be on the top of the list :).

I'll be looking until the G3 is released in Norway; then I might just buy that instead.

Spam spam spam. Just touched the G2 today, and I must say I like LG a lot. Might even just get the G2 to save some money; that's if I can't get the One.

I'll vouch for the G2. It's a wonderful phone. I got it on release day and haven't thought about another phone since.

Nice! That's what I thought about my SGS4 until I tried the G2 with the buttons on the back. That idea is actually freaking awesome. And I am guessing it will get the knock code too, so that will be yet another reason to get one. We'll see =D

I need a new phone as one of the antennas in my Xperia S has shorted out and I am limited to using only the slow EDGE antenna.

I entered, thanks for the tip Glissant. The LG G2 looks interesting as well. I need to read up on what is available nowdays. I haven't decided on the one+ so if I win you can have it. I wouldn't have entered if it weren't for you anyway.
Title: Re: [WTB]/[LF] OnePlus One invite
Post by: Glissant on Sat, 21 June 2014, 20:00:31
damorgue, if you aren't in need of the newest device then I would really suggest looking into the LG G2, but if you don't like the buttons being on the back I could also recommend the LG nexus 5. This is all based on my own personal use, so YMMV ;).
I would greatly appreciate the win if you get it, damorgue, but don't give it away before you've decided. You might find that you really could use a flagship kind of phone for that price =).

Thanks Glissant, my phone just broke recently and I'm looking for something affordable. I'll probably get either the nexus 5 or this if I can't wait long enough. What's your referral id so I can refer you?
Title: Re: [WTB]/[LF] OnePlus One invite

Lingj, I can recommend the Nexus 5. I would also recommend LG G2 in that price range because it's the phone I am currently running after giving my S4 to the wife. Excellent phone with buttons in a perfect place for me; especially since I use the knock-on and knock-off features.

I have no clue what my referral code is, so I'll just thank you for the thought =).

If anyone here gets an invite and wants to share the love with the invites you receive after purchase, please put me on the list. I would do the same. Not looking to sell invites, but I would give them to people here once I buy the phone.

Maybe I should just pony up the cash and buy one on oppomart?

Then you might as well just get a flagship phone from a different company, JD ;). The point of the phone is for it to be a cheaper flagship device. If I had to pay $500 for the 64GB OnePlus One I would just get the LG G3 instead and slap AOSPA on that beauty.

I hope everyone gets an invite that has posted in this thread :). I just got shafted by the service center that is looking into why the camera on my phone won't focus. They said it was water damage; which simply isn't possible, and now they are refusing to repair my device. LG is of no help as they won't even tell me how they prove water damage at the service center. And it doesn't help reading online either... people have had the same thing happen to them because the tech had looked at a sticker inside the phone that is red from the assembly line.

Anyway... /rant

Cheers, JD. I was really lucky to get it. I got it through nominating someone else for an invite, then that person won and ended up giving me the invite because he was so moved that I nominated him.
Karma, man. It's real.

I also think this thread should be moved to off-topic and be continued as a discussion on the phone and/or invites :).

It was a Liberating experience..   I didn't realize how much actual motion I was limiting myself against when I had a $700 device in my pocket after having had everything since ipho 1 ..

I'd go with the motorola F1 if I ever abandon my smartphone.

I use said phone primarily to read e-books after I had two ebook readers break.

That said, this phone looks pretty legit. I'd dig it were I looking for a new smartphone. It's cool that it came out just after I said to myself: "all the new smartphones are dumb"

here's to oneplus making more awesome!

I hear ya.  I've always been pestered by my friends to upgrade my HTC Aria to a $600 smartphone.  I purchased my Aria used for like $50 on Craigslist about four years ago, and it's still running like-new.  All I do is upgrade it with smoother roms.  In the meantime, my friends upgrade their iphones every year or so, and are more often than not, having a their screens cracked or their phones dead by the end of the year.  They argue with me that the damage doesn't really matter because the phones were practically free, but I disagree.

I don't think my friends realize that although the iphone and other $600 smartphones are about $100 upfront via 2-year contract, they are still paying for the full $600 via installments added to their monthly bills.  Just a few months ago, I switched to AIO (now Cricket), and realized just how much people should be paying for their cell phone service.  Thanks to their group saving feature, I'm paying five lines (with 2.5GB unlimited data per line) for just $160.  During the switch, I also upgraded my Aria to a brand-new Moto G for just $80.  Getting five of these is still cheaper than getting one new iphone 5s.  Seeing as how the Moto G is so cheap and good, I upgraded my whole family to that phone.  I'm just sitting here laughing at my friends who are paying more than $200 for two or three lines not including the installments they are paying for their phones.  That extra money you could be saving on your cell phone bill is keyboard money people!

I'm on Ting  which is a Sprint MVNO, as you would imagine with anything using Sprint's network, it's pretty lackluster. Ting's customer service is pretty incredible but I'm not the biggest fan of the pricing tier thing they have setup (I hate paying for data amounts). Anyway, it's pretty much a BYOD company with a small web store. But when all is said and done I pay half what I did through AT&T.

The OnePlus One mainly intrigues me because of the price to spec ratio, I'd love to pay half the going rate for new hardware :p

That being said if I don't get an invite I'll probably just get the next iphone and put off Android another couple years :/

The expensive phone is more of an issue for  self-conscious people

by that I mean..

to them---  an expensive phone represents

_Social Status (you want to seem rich)

____ or at least (not poor)

_Fitting In (every kid has an iphone/ipod/ipad)

____ Personal insecurity, if they are not the prettiest person, they might realize that they at least need to balance the dissonance by surrounding themselves with external-items that ARE considered Pretty.

________ it may not always be visual, it could be cost, rarity, any element or condition considered  Greater status than which they currently possess.

Alrighty, you guys are so much better than everybody that wants to spend their money on what they want.
Congratulations on your intelligent choices, and I must commend you for making the right choice for you.

Now can we get back to talking about the phone in question, or do we have more stories about other phones that are completely irrelevant to this thread?

I just ordered the green case from eBay for the Oneplus One (http://www.ebay.com/itm/111411941422?var=410396780291&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
The shipping from Oneplus themselves was way too high for me,  so had to go this way.
Can't wait to test it out. Thinking I am going to run Paranoid Android on it, but I'll give CM 11s a go first ;).

commonly sold on ebay

I am also not interested in HOW anyone spends their money..

Sorry about my little rant there.  On topic, the OnePlus One is definitely the sort of phone I look forward to getting in the future.  I would have gotten it earlier if I had an invite before obtaining my Moto G.  I could try to get an invite now and use my Moto G as backup, but the release of the LG G3 and news of the Nexus 6 has got me waiting.  Also, maybe in a few years phone manufacturers will follow suit with OnePlus One's price/performance characteristics.  It might not be good for me to get a OnePlus One later if that happens.

In terms of features, phones like the Moto G, Moto E, and various Nokia phones really cater to those on a budget.  The OnePlus One on the other hand, scales perfectly to the asking price in the same way the Moto G has done.  The OnePlus one competes with the $600 phone but can cater to those who usually get mid-tier phones.  Depending on the user, I think the OnePlus One can help minimize the need for other electronics.  Sure, you spend $300, but you're getting a great screen for enhanced content consumption, a good built-in camera, and amazing specs to run just about anything loaded onto the phone.  Usually when I go out, I bring my Nexus 7 for better content consumption, a point-and-shoot camera to take better than average photos, and my $100 smartphone.  I feel like if I just get the OnePlus One, I can eliminate the need to have all three devices with me.  My camera, tablet, and phone already costs over $300 together anyway.

JD, yeahhh buddy. All I can say is be active on the oneplus forums, and maybe you'll have good fortune. There are new invites given out every day and lots of people that can't use them.

My order now went from "pending shipment" to "processing". Why does that feel like going backwards? xD

whoa that is pretty backwards, i guess it could be a surge in purchases or trouble with info or the delivery company

paicrai, it seems like all orders go that way, so I'm guessing "pending shipment" just means that the order is ready to be processed :). MUCH EXCITE

What gets me is that people sign up for invites who can't use them. Wastes time for others who just want to buy the phone.

I'm still holding on to my SGSIII from a few years ago. I haven't felt much need to upgrade because I run AOSP based roms and don't care about Samsung's new "gimmicky" features. The screen is already boarding on the large end for one handed use. The processor+ram is already beefy enough for everything I do (primarily web browsing and occasionally a few games). With the ability to add a 64gb sdcard I don't need more storage space (especially with things moving towards the cloud).

My biggest complaint would have to be battery life. If there was one thing I would want to improve with my future phone it would be that. Barely touching my phone it will be close to 50% by the end of work. I can squeeze out a few hours of screen time but it is almost always (next to) dead by the end of the day. I have heard good things about the LG G2 and a few initial impressions from the One+1.

No. The Google Play Store is for that - Google devices. It is available from One+ website, other people selling there's, or some 3rd party sites (ex: oppomart).

I keep reading a lot about a kind of worrying issue with the display. The display seems to get some sort of yellowing band on the bottom of the display, and some people have even had the entire screen be yellow (warm) rather than white (cold).
Oneplus has commented on the issue and said that the whole screen being warm is something that can be fixed within the software, but a lot of people are saying that this issue doesn't help.
I'm inclined to take Oneplus' word for the whole screen being warm issue. Simply because people aren't known to be very smart when it comes to troubleshooting for themselves.
However, the yellow band issue is a whole different problem that I am worried about.
That being said; the issues seem to be pre-june built phones, so who knows if the yellow band is even a problem for those of us that are getting devices post that build.

*shrug*

Congrats on your invite Glissant, hopefully I'm able to get one soon. I read up on recent problems of the phone and the yellow tint most likely comes from the software. I've heard people being able to fix it with it's software I haven't looked too much into it. Here's the link that I read.

Post by: Glissant on Sat, 19 July 2014, 19:13:59
paicrai, yes read the thread Lingj linked ;)

Lingj, thank you. And yes, some people have fixed it with software, but some people are also trying to use UV lamps to see if it will help "cure" the adhesive between the glass and the lcd.
If you look through the last ten pages you will see more people posting info on screens that don't change even with the software.

I'm not worried much about my phone as I am pretty sure I won't have the issue because of the build date, but you never know.

the temperature, is it actual temperature or colour temperature? it still seems confusing that either of those varies from factory to factory. the software warmth enhancer thing i can understand, but hardware is a different story

It's not officially launched in singapore, and I think shipping fee is gonna be a blast.
I would really hope to have something in return though. A small gift?  :p

No yellow screen issue AFAIK, but I'll keep my eye out for it. Build date is July 10th.

Nope, the phone is running great right now!

I'm loving the sleek look and features of Cyanogenmod. I did have to turn off the draw V to turn on torchlight thing, but other than that the phone hasn't given me any trouble at all yet.

I'll be using mine on AT&T. That's what I currently use with my Nexus 4, using a GoPhone SIM. I subscribe to the $60/mo plan which includes unlimited talk and text, and 2GB data. In my area, T-Mobile doesn't have as good coverage as AT&T, although the AT&T network is quite congested.

Not sure exactly how invites work (does everyone who buys a phone get them?) as I personally don't have much interest in this phone (happy with my Nexus 5), but my younger brother is interested in this phone (it's either this or a nexus 5 and I don't think he wants the same phone as me... bit of a sibling rivalry between us :p), so if anyone can send me an invite, I would appreciate it!

Woooow! This phone feels incredibly different in hand. I was a little worried it would be too big, but it's just deliciously wonderful to handle.
The build quality is strangely a lot higher than expected for the price to be honest. It feels a lot better than the SGS5 in my opinion.

I'm already running Paranoid Android 4.5 Alpha 3. Looking forward to playing with it for a bit. I might just go back to CM 11s as that's what they "want" us to run on it, but I won't be sure until I've tested the phone out for a while.

Congratulations to everyone that gets this phone!

Edit: The way they designed the screen is really beautiful. So far I have to say it's worth every penny and second it took for this to become a reality.

I put up a little gallery of shots I took, but some are out of focus because I wanted to get my hands on the phone ;)

Now that I've spent some time with the phone I can honestly say that I love the experience a lot. It's a large phone, but because it's not as wide as the note series there really isn't a problem handling it for me.
I haven't had any issues that weren't self made yet, and that makes me really happy.

Here's a picture of the amount of yellow "band" I have at the bottom. It's hardly noticeable, and it doesn't bother me at all.
[attach=1]

I did have a slight issue with the device charging extremely slowly (about 10 hours for full charge from 10%), but I found out that it was because of the cable I used. Apparently there is a difference in the way the cables are made, and the included cable is made in the right way, so the device charges super quickly.

This is what my phone is setup to look like now. I'm still looking for a theme that goes with this look, but haven't found a red accented Android L theme yet.
[attach=2]

Can't wait for them to release some styleswap covers though. I think this phone will look sick with a wood or bamboo cover.

Lingj, it was available for a short period of time a day or two after I ordered my Oneplus One. Another thing I'm noticing is that it (the case) doesn't seem to fit perfectly. It's slightly too small or something. It just doesn't reach over the lip of the bezel all the way on the bottom part of the case. What I'm saying is that it fits well on top, but on bottom it doesn't fit too well. It's also on the bottom that the case is showing stress fractures on the corners.
Can't really recommend the case to anyone, but it might just be my case being a shoddy patch. I don't really use cases anyway, so it really isn't bothering me. Can't wait for the styleswap covers!

These phones look nice. I have a weird issue with my s3 where the wifi won't turn on. I have tried resetting it to stock and about 5 custom roms, but can never get it to work. Sometimes it will work for a little bit after i turn it on, but then stop working 5min later. It is a really weird issue, and as a broke student without a data plan, my smartphone has been reduced to a phone. I think I will have to keep my eye on these for the future.  ^-^

I have two invites. I would much rather give them to one of you lovely keyboard enthusiasts than a random person on reddit, so the first two to reply here will get an invite.
You must be able to buy the phone now, and you have to be from one of these countries (or be able to proxy the phone of course)

United States
Sweden
Denmark
Netherlands
United Kingdom
Spain
Germany
France
Italy
Finland
Belgium
Austria
Canada
Hong Kong
Taiwan
Portugal

I would be interested in an invite (US), and any invites I happen to get afterwards I'll happily give away in this thread.

What is so special about this phone that warrants a referral to be able to buy it?

the referral system is part of the marketing

but the phone itself has specs that cost more from other vendors.

It's mostly to build hype, but also so they don't get overrun with orders as a budding startup I suppose.

It's £269 in the UK for the 64GB version.
Do you think it's worth it if I could sell my iPhone 4S and my Nexus 4 to get this device ?

I see, so it's basically a small manufacturer proving you can build and sell a phone for $300 at smaller quantities that can do the same things as a $500 phone from larger manufacturers.

if you want to believe that.. sure... it's not like these things need any durability beyond 2 years anyway due to obsolescence....  so whatever may or may not be true, is mostly irrelevant..

The Oneplus is sold at cost, so that just about means that it costs as much as the iPhones to manufacture, purely based on the internals. In fact the price of manufacturing a "flagship"-phone is just about the same across the board if you look at internal components as the only factor. And I'm sure using a little more metal in the construction isn't worth even $50 in production costs per phone.
What it really comes down to isn't the cost of the components itself, but everything that helps sell the phone.

So, what makes anybody in this thread think that the Oneplus One is more cheaply made than any other smartphone with the generation components?
Is it the plastic construction compared to glass and aluminium on other flagship devices?

For me I think they cut a major corner on either back-lighting the screen or the screen itself. Don't get me wrong; the screen is clear and crisp. But the damned yellowing at the bottom of the screen is an issue I wish they had found before going into production.
Thankfully I am glad to pay such a small price to be part of the beta testing of Oneplus' "first" device. I highly doubt they will be able to do it the same second time around, but I guess we will see next year.

All that being said. I wish I had bought an LG G3 instead because of how tall the Oneplus is. And I really enjoy the bezels and back buttons on the LG G3.
Oh welllllll

Edit: Oops remembered to add something.

THe screen and backlit is all one assembly.. so if there were any issues.. that's directly the panel manufacturer's fault or deficiency..

I wouldn't get the g3... the note4 is probably the way to go..

factoring in resell value..  which is a big deal for phones.. not so much on laptops..
Title: Re: OnePlus One discussion
Post by: Glissant on Wed, 08 October 2014, 13:22:48
The panel that JDI made for the Oneplus have the LEDs closer to the edges than on most other phones with similar panels (according to Oneplus' own statements). Which could cause the screen to seem a little warmer nearer the edge. It really doesn't explain why some phones have the yellow band at the bottom, and others don't. But since the panels were made in different factories I am sure that's one reason.

I wouldn't get the Note 4. I have no need for a stylus. And I hate touchwiz, so I might as well get a phone that I don't have to change the firmware on to enjoy fully.

Resell value has no bearing on my cell phone purchases these days. The phones that I replace go to family members.

why are ya'll so excited for a phone..  i mean.. they all do the same thing.. they're all about as fast when it comes to the important stuff...

Best analogy I could make is ,  it's like you're getting excited over getting new socks..

I mean.. yea socks are important, some are warmer, some are softer..

but.. overall, they're just socks...

I mean.. i understand if you got excited when they first invented socks in 2007...

when I got my the first 8gb iphone, i was like. holy crap, I can ssh into my computer and remote desktop actually works well, OMG...

but..  2014.. like.. what's the big deal..

To answer your question; I give a **** because my phone is the one device I interact with more than anything else almost everyday. My ifail5 is on its last leg and I'm excited to have a flagship grade phone for a stupidly-cheap price. Being that my job is web ops and I'm on call 24/7, my phone is how our NOC contacts me after hours as well as being a device I have on me at all times running important system and application monitoring tools. Maybe when all you use your phone for is trolling and spouting nonsensical, holier-than-thou rants they all look the same, but I suspect the rest of the productive world looks at them differently.

Why do I even care what kind of keyboard I am using. They all do the same thing. I mean I was excited when I invented the keyboard, but now I just don't see the need for anything other than my Dell OEM.
Let's not even talk about the fact that I bought this new jacket even though my old one is completely functional with it's four holes and paint splatter all over it from an accident. Such a waste of money. It's not even like winter is coming.

Congratulations to everyone that is getting the Oneplus. I am sure you'll enjoy having a workhorse of a phone. Mine is just used as a paperweight since I have this 1st gen iPhone that still works, AND I have android running on it so what do I need a new phone for?

I've seen the tech team and dbas work first hand..  the only complicated thing that hits the phone are alert messages like,  "server needs more ram" "please merge tables" "job fail"

and most of those are just emails or txts..

I'm calling bull**** on just how "IMPORTANT"  this NEW technology is vs the billion phones that came before it which email and txt just as well...

and IDK why you'd think I'm being holier-than-thou..

They have them.. they're just usually not necessary, because if they get the alert, they'd rather just rd into the machines using a laptop vs using their phone..

Have you worked long in IT ? no body WANTS TO do any work on their phones..

I'm sure you and your "tech team" do just fine managing Fred Flintstones and Barney Rubles desktops at the Rockhead Quarry. However, when your managing distributed infrastructures where 100+ systems spread across the globe are used to host just one of dozens of web applications, tools like RDP and ssh don't cut it.

Sure management from a phone is less than ideal, but when you're in a pinch and **** is blowing up you don't always get the luxury of having a laptop around to use.

It's the Boxwave arctic frost crystal slip case.  Fair warning: it does sit a tad bit lower than the screen protector.  I also have the boxwave blackout case, and that easily sits above the screen protector, if you're worried about dropping it on the front face.

The screen protector made by Orzly.

Yeah, I'm a a bit skeptical of how OnePlus has handled the sales of their phones.

Just checked my Paypal account and OnePlus has already taken funds out of my account.

If I don't get my phone sometime next week I'm going to be a little bit irked.

Apparently OnePlus is sending out invites to everyone who, like me, had their pre-order cancelled because I just got two invites. I cant decide if I want to say **** it and keep the 6+ that I really don't like or try my chances with OnePlus again. I can't help but look at this whole pre-order fiasco as a red flag for what it will be like if I ever needed support or to RMA the thing.

I have so many issues with the 6+, not the least of which being the dog-**** camera and how much ios8 sucks balls. I'm not convinced that the OnePlus is the holy grail that some people make it out to be though. There seems to be plenty of complaints on the OP forums and on /r/oneplus which makes me wonder if I dodged a bullet having my pre-order get cancelled.

Gah ... If only HTC had released the M8 Eye here in the states I would have made my decision already.

Does the update address the stability issues the OPO has been having recently (a la boot loop etc)

Also, sadly I'm super OCD with my electronics so I probably won't touch my phone until my case and screen protector arrive (ordered these the moment I got my tracking number via Amazon Prime and somehow the phone is arriving even sooner than that). Will have to wait til Monday to play with my new toy!

Congrats, Sygaldry. Now go nuts with CM11 themes on the play store ;). Flats, Flux, Lollipop 5.0 and Flat (iOS lookalike sort of) are some that I recommend taking a look at.
I'm currently running Flats with the Moonshine icon pack (using Nova Launcher) on my OPO.
No idea if you like that sort of thing, but I guess it's a nod to everyone that wants to try something new :).

Wow, that's great ! iOS isn't that bad tbh. I used it, it was my first smart phone & I really liked it.
But nowadays, my gadgets that I prefer are usually my Nexus 4 + my iPad Mini w Retina Display.
The size of the mini is just nice for me. Can't wait to get my OPO now ;)

He gave it away on reddit since no one replied in 24hr.

,Woo! Managed to snag one off of the oppo forums.

Is there a way to get the white one? Every invite I have seen has been for the sandstone black... I know if you buy the device you will get invites - but will they all be for the same color?

Edit: "Production of the 16GB Silk White has been postponed in favor of producing only 64GB Sandstone Black until an unspecified time."

Edit 2: Ordered, Pending shipment :thumb: I'll be sure to come back here when I get an email with some invites for whoever else wants one

Update time. I've been relaxing back home for thanksgiving break and not staying on the forums so much.

Mine arrived on friday or saturday morning - so just a few days after I ordered mine :thumb:

I wasn't sure how much I would like the sandstone back, and it was a little weird at first but it is growing on me. The camera takes good (enough) shots the first try and has HDR which rocks the socks off of my old S3 that couldn't focus on a d*** piece of paper to save it's life. Speaking of life, the battery life on this thing is pretty awesome. Today I got 6h50min of screen on time, and before that I got over 24hr of battery life with a little less screen time. My old S3 would be nearing the end of its life just sitting in my pocket during class/work and would always be dead at the end of the day. With the 1+1 that is no more.

No noticeable yellow screen or other defects. Works well with AT&T's LTE. Overall, I am a very happy customer. Ohh, and Lollipop is fun to play with and is pretty stable without any major missing features (could be a daily driver).

Got 3 invites, if none of my real friends claim them soon I will share them here.

Another status update. I got some more OPO goodies at christmas. The silver bullet earbuds aren't bad for the price and have a surprising amount of bass; however, what really makes me love them is that they wedge themselves perfectly in my ear so that they don't fall out. With my previous pair of samsung earbuds they could fall out with out me doing anything, just sitting completely still. With these I can walk and jump around, eat food, whatever, and they will stay firmly in place.

I also got an Orzly screen protector which fits like a glove. I showed it to my relatives after adding the screen and they wondered what I was trying to show - they couldn't tell any difference. Really, if this the speak came recessed into the glass then it would look like it does right now. I have not tested its resistance to cracks, and hope I will not have to. The feel is good and it also picks up much less fingerprints.

I am not going to put a case on this phone as it would remove the cool textures back, and if worse comes to worst I can always buy a replacement back. So for the moment I think I have all the accessories I want for this phone and am a very happy camper :thumb:

oh i haven't get a glass sp yet, but then again the one i ordered together with my opo is holding up fine.  :thumb:
ehh, i used the phone naked without a case but then i've started to use a gel case a week ago. the only thing is when you're using it without a case and the sandstone black version is how quickly it can get dirty or worn out. ;D

Just saying, the lollipop nightlies are working good (don't see any game breaking bugs, but I'v heard bluetooth audio can have some issues).

Looking at the commit messages CM is starting to finish up the features and prepare for the CM12S official release. Theme manager and quicktile customization were recently added in, along with support for separate bootanimations (Normal CM12/12S).

CM has a contract with a manufacturer in India, so OnePlus technically can't sell hardware with CM installed on it in India.

baldgye, I think I'll live if I HAD to take the 128GB one ;)

jdcarpe, if I ever get another invite I'll shoot it your way first. Or  you could buy it at the ridiculous prices they ask on eBay or aliexpress or whatever xD.

strict, ;)

I'm not sure, Sniping. Mine just popped up in my inbox with no indication as to where they came from. I'm guessing that they came from the raffle.
