i hope you are not factoring in those customs charges into what you will be charging the buyers?

I doubt it since customs charges are to be paid to the customs office, usually through your postman or delivery service. The sender doesn't enter into it.
Assuming it is shipped in a box I thought the $18 shipping charge to Belgium on the invoice was quite reasonable.

it sucks that shipping from NL to US is so much cheaper than the reverse :( but yeah my invoice looks fine.

I'd like to thank the OP for his efforts. I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and lack of drama with this GB thus far.  :thumb:

I'm disappointed that I couldn't have ordered a few more sets, but I'm already over budget and I still need to get an order in for those shiny Alpine Winter caps.

Invoice paid; I've finally joined the Alps Master Race!  ;D

The master race  was a concept in Nazi ideology in which the Nordic race—a branch of what in late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century taxonomy was called the Aryan race—represented an ideal and pure white race.

Along with the Jews and Gypsies, the overwhelming majority of the Slavic population were defined as non-Aryan Untermenschen, and a danger to the "Aryan" or Germanic Übermenschen master race.  According to the Nazi secret Hunger Plan and Generalplan Ost, the Slavic population were to be removed from East-Central Europe through expulsion, enslavement, starvation, and extermination. The Nazis eventually decided to exterminate the Poles and most other Slavic people, except for a small percentage of people living in Eastern Europe who were deemed to be non-Slavic descendants of Germanic settlers, and thus subjects for Germanisation.

/* Due to the many diverse influences/sources of the English language, there are a multitude of words and phrases whose meanings must be discerned via the context in which they are used. Those of us who have read Beowulf or even something as recent as the works of Shakespeare are also aware that meanings can and do evolve over time, regardless of their origins.

If you sincerely believe that my comments, which were clearly and specifically made regarding keyboard switches, can in any way imply that I am advocating the internment and systematic extermination of Gypsies, practitioners of specific religions, homosexuals, or those with mental and physical disabilities, then you have succeeded in thoroughly offending me. Furthermore, I would respectfully suggest that you seek professional help for your obsession.

Invoice paid! Also as a rule I avoid using words like "____ master race" out of respect for history, as well as it sounds stupid as hell to me.

Brb, I have a spork to grab and a speech about penguins to rehearse.

Also, paid!  ;D ;D
The Alps cover 65% of Switzerland's surface area (41,285 km˛), making it one of the most alpine countries. Despite the fact that Switzerland covers only 14% of the Alps total area (192,753 km˛),[2][3] many alpine four-thousanders (48 of 82) are located in the Swiss Alps and practically all of the remaining few are within 20 km of the country's border.

I'm back among the living and I'm about to start going through the PMs and changes I need to make.

To answer a few questions:

No, there was no VAT added to the shipping.  As I understand it, that is to be paid by you at the customs/post office.  The calculations are to give you a rough idea what to expect and prevent unpleasant surprises.

The due date for payments is soon.  The sooner I get everybody in, the sooner we can get this rolling.

I sincerely appreciate the professionalism and lack of drama with this GB thus far.  :thumb:

Let's keep this streak of low drama and high professionalism going.  Everybody is entitled to opinions but please keep keyboard site rivalry, post-Nietzsche linguistic debates, and being a general grumpypuss to Off-Topic.  All are welcome in this GB from the old Europeans at DT to the newbies at /r/mk.

Ok, back to the task at hand.

Does the PCB/plate come with mounting hardware to use with a poker ii case? ex: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mini-Keyboard-GH60-plastic-Case-for-60-Mechanical-Keyboard-Compatoble-PBT-Keycaps-Poker2-Pok3r-Faceu-60/32311183273.html
Or does that come with the case?
I'm still deciding if its work the hassle to design and make an acrylic case

With that case you need to buy some m2 screws. Also I read somewhere around here that you can also ask that seller for a clear case.

The PCB comes with holes.  No screws.

The case you linked has a comment from a review that says it comes with rubber pads and screws.

I got a set of both Clicky and Quiet Clicks to try out, so I might be able to hook you up in the future. I'm guessing a few big shot alp-heads stocked up on switches so that might be an easier/CONUS route :thumb:

I would say TMK is easy to do once you learn it. And you really need to know very little code.

I don't have any experience with easy AVR but you can post in that thread.

I'm hoping this is my last question, are the dolch doubleshots on massdrop worth the extra $3 USD over the black ones?
The Olivette ones are out, I have blue and black going on here.

I probably missed it, but what's the cutoff date on payment?  Rent plus dp for car has me tapped for a weekish

I was wondering this as well.  A deadline would be nice.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

They feel the same, so it really comes down to preference of color. I bought all three so I'm clearly not the one to help you decide, but Dolch is almost as versatile as WoB, and arguably more interesting, if a little bit overdone these days.

I ordered Dolch the first time round. Planning on using those with the wooden Royal Glam case + one of my Alps boards. I also ordered Olivette for the current drop because reasons.

The Dolch looks great, the Olivette will probably look great too. It'll be a tough call as to which to use...or perhaps a combination of the two.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I read this correctly we DO have to buy and solder our own diodes?
Pre soldered or not is okay, I just need to know if I need to spend $2... •_•

Hasu included diodes on rounds 1 & 2 for those that ordered assembled PCB (the only option on this buy) so I imagine he'll do the same for this round.

So he included them, but did not solder them then?

Precisely. The assembled pcbs came with all the SD components soldered, but not the diodes. He did include ~70 or so diodes with each assembled PCB.

Thank you very much then.
Saving that $2 may go towards the $4 for Dolch... I don't know yet.

Would it be a 3mm m2 screw? Or a different length?

Does it matter?

It does if you want to cut a screw with that wire stripper.
