Doesn't really look like DSA, maybe a new cap profile?

Devlin perhaps?

Yup.  I recognized it because I wanted to do my Retro Cassette DSA set with Devlin but they refused to work with anyone but QWERkeys.

Is Devlin fully compatible with standard layouts with their Q series?  I know they have some wonky  restrictions on cap sets.

These aren't the cap you used for the megaman set you made a while ago are they? Because if so those keycaps where really nice and thick too

Those were Devlin, but a different profile.  That was also with QWERkeys, which was hell since they were terrible to work with.  The caps definitely were nice though.

Is this something that we can expect to purchase in the near future?  Looking forward to seeing what you have planned.

Awesome! Do they have all the key sizes in that profile for a full board (I assume these are "Q" profile)? Will we be able to design custom sets and run GB's through you? How much do they charge for custom fonts? Can they do different surface textures (matte, semi-matte, gloss)?

Can they do "QS" profile (sculptured low profile), is it really spherical top, and what finishes do they provide for those?

Actually, do they have all the sizes for "Q", "QS" and "K" profile?

Do they offer other materials than ABS (like PBT, POM and polycarbonate)?

Okay, got too excited there. Let me rephrase this:

1. Do they have all the keycap sizes for a full board in "Q", "QS" and "K" profiles?
2. What finishes do they offer all these profiles in (matte, semi-matte, gloss)?
3. Would we be able to design sets and run GB's for them through you or them?
4. Do they offer different materials than ABS (like POM, PBT and polycarbonate)? If so, can they doubleshot PBT or PC/ABS in combination?

Unless they changed something, you can't do spacebars with Devlin for standard keyboards in Q profile.

With all my correspondence with Devlin I have stated I wanted a standard ISO-UK layout with ANSI keys as extra (I even sent pictures to clarify). The representative said he will need to check for ANSI keys but made no mention of the spacebar / any other ISO-UK keys as being a problem in Q series profile.

1) I will have to look into it
2) As far as I know, semi-matte smooth texture is the only option currently
3) Yes, not really soon, but hopefully by the end of this year I will able to do that
4) Only ABS

Is this something that we can expect to purchase in the near future?  Looking forward to seeing what you have planned.

Yes!

Awesome! Thanks for the info and the quick response!

My biggest complaint about DSA caps has been the small top surface and the matte texture. These sound like an amazing alternative, although if you mean the texture shown in the first pic you posted, I would call that matte texture, although it does look a hair smoother (smaller surface features) than SP's matte texture.

In comparison, SP's matte and semi-matte look something like this (matte SA profile on the left, semi-matte SA profile on the right):

Another example of SA profile semi-matte:

An example of gloss finish is found on the SA relegendable tops:

They can do SA profile 1x and 1.25x in gloss.

Comparing all 3 via touch (Devlin Q, DSA matte and SP SA semi-matte I would say Devlin Q is somewhere inbetween SP matte and semi-matte
