Are you the one building the switch tester with like, every switch you can find? I'd be excited to see it even if it's a work in progress.
I'm making a switch tester with every currently manufactured switch . . . vintage Cherry's (and other vintage switches) will get their own tester. Alps style will make it on somewhere . . . but I haven't acquired any yet (and they aren't part of the ~75 switches I currently have). KBTalking is just rebranded Greetech, so it won't make it on . . . unless I'm mistaken about this. Neither will rapoo (rebranded Kailh) or Outelo (Outemu remolds).
Frankenswitches probably won't make it on . . . unless they're available in quantities that could be considered "manufactured", but they might get their own little section (like the Lanthanide or Actinide rows on the periodic table of elements.)
I thought that the board might be arranged with switch type (clicky, tactile, linear) arranged on the 'x' axis and actuation force on the y axis, but there are so many mx blue clones that they take up a ton of the board. At this point I'm thinking something like a periodic table of switches might be more useful, with weights, types and brands arranged in a way that ultimately still makes sense, but is less 1:1 related to their cartesian coordinates.
If I can get a decent prototype test board together I'll also design a poster to go with it.
If all goes well I'll start up a group buy to sell the combo, maybe complete with switches or empty as a treasure hunt for people . . . but first I have to finish the thing and decide if it's any good.
