The same handful of anecdotal pictures get posted time and time again, and it's become a meme not particularly grounded in reality. You could do the same with GMK - and I could contribute some pics of my metaverse keycaps, where some of the sides of the keycaps are matte and textured, and some came so glossy and smooth it looks like someone went after them with a polishing wheel. Anecdotes are not data, and if we condemned other manus/processes for having defective caps delivered like some people do for reverse dyesub manus, none of us would be buying custom keycaps from anyone.
There is nothing inherent to the reverse dyesub process that prevents a manufacturer from delivering a set of keys that are within tolerance. Sometimes bad QC slips through - and that happens to every manu.

I feel that the renders do not do the set justice because the background is harsh and I feel that the lighting can be improved. The lighting feels "dry" in a way.
I think that the deskmats are super neat and I hope that you can get some reverse dyesub samples from milkyway before gb due to reverse dyesub sets almost always drawing concern. Some reassurance from samples could help with that.

That’s a pretty standard price for reverse dye sub base kit? Look at any full reverse dye sub epbt or KAT set

I also have an IFK set that is Reverse dysesub in black & it is not warped to hell. MW is doing thicker pbt than IFK so that is going to make warping even less of an issue. I have seen MW samples & they look good. So, Karmzii, stop listening to memers and try things out for yourself.
I love the work and heart that went into this set. The colors are great and those deskmats are fire.

This is such a great concept. Can't say I'll buy them unless I have a particular idea with what to do with them tho, the style is def distinctive! On the other hand, I've been looking for a deskmat and that church on fire one just jumped to the top of my list.

I basically just recolorised the hand PNGs from above for my mockup, but I also found I had to tweak the right-hand a bit more to give it a bit clearer definition. Not sure whether you wanted to completely reillustrate them yourself from scratch or pilfer them from this classic illustration like I did, but this depiction of Baphomet due to Éliphas Lévi is entirely within the public domain so you could just do that too if you wanted.

Hey this is a bit of a silly question but I've never owned reverse dye-sub before and am curious, what colours do you get on the undersides/insides of the keycaps? Are they undyed and red like the legends? and I presume the black-on-red keys are probably just a regular (not reverse) dye sub and hence also probably look red on the inside, right?
If so, I'm even more excited now because I kinda want to chuck these on a tented split board where the undersides are actually a little exposed and I think this would look sick

Inside of the keycaps is red for both red on black keys and red keys.
