The case, at current dimensions, is only .574" tall from bottom to top of the switch plate.  It might be possible to reduce it a bit, but it's not much taller than the average Planck, according to my measurements.

I'd love something like this but would want something with a 5x6 grid instead of 4x6. Does anyone know if anyone has plans for or has done a pair of 5x6s?

Exactly. I are currently looking for a split ortholinear that offers 5x6. There are plenty of split plancks but none for the preonic or the atomic.

GREAT FIND! Love the idea of bare PCB as a plate.
That's an extremely nice & minimal setup, but not what i am looking for. Too few switches. (23 per side, that's still 40% territory)

are the keys also with rgb led?

i definitly would buy this keyboard if the keys are also rgb and it would had some kind of case like this
