==========================================================================

=========================================================================
Hi guys, I'm Hoq. I'm pleased to introduce our newly designed DSA keycaps for some minimized keyboards.

It is called Wolf Mark.

We are a Planck/Preonic/Atomic keyboard Enthusiasts' group, and our members love the ortholinear keyboards very much.
In China We also have planck/preonic/atomic like keyboards called OCD40, 50, 60.

But,as you know, so less keycaps can match the Planck/Prionic/Atomic layout ,even some Group Buyes of the SA/DSA keycaps. They ignored it.

So, we designed a DSA/SA keycaps sets for ourselves especially for P/P/A keyboards.
And we also developed 2 kits for some popular minimized beyboards such as 60%(normal and WKL,HHKB layout), minila, and FC660M.

Maybe we are rare, but, we are willing to fullfill our needs all by ourselves hands....  ;)

============================================================
Totally 4 kits to be offered:
(1) base
(2) planck/preonic/atomic
(3) 60%/minila/fc660m
(4) wkl/ hhkb

1.base

2. Planck/Preonic/Atomic kit

3. 60%(normal), minila, and FC660M.

4.WKL/HHKB

the SP ABS color

below are some 2D renderings. Hope mini beyboards lovers enjoy them.

===================
Update:
2016-09-29: IC started.
2016-09-29: add a 1u key to WKL/HHKB kit; add HHKB 2d rendering.
2016-09-30: add a white 1u "\|" key to P/P/A kit; modifide the "delete" key in HHKB rendering.
2016-10-7: add 2 blanck white key to P/P/A kit; add a red enter key to 60/minila/fc660m kit.

Thank you  guys for your appreciation. :D

As you know , SA production schdules are full and bursting...
According to the nearest SA Group Buys, their lead time will be 2017 JUNE,and prone to even more delay.

We can not wait that long, so we decide to organize DSA GB first.

ANYWAY YOU GUYS HAVE A COOL GROUP!

Edit: I think you should add 2x 1u blanks to support Planck's Grid layout.

The color is very cool!

Though I think I need a 1.75u Fn and the HHKB layout needs 1.5u Delete/Backspace  ;D

basically, this keysets only support 60% keyboards and below.
If this DSA keyset GB goes successfully, we will consider to run SA and try to cover all the layouts.

Thank you for your advice, bro.
We really hope to fullfill more keyboards.

However, it is our first try,  We want to make it consice and affortable for 60% keyboards  lovers.
Moreover, it's hard for us to run a large-scope GB,  unless we find a foreign partner.

But, we believe  we can make more adequate preparation for the next run some day.

The colors aren't very striking but it's certainly a nice combination when every set now is just out there to blind you silly looking.
A very nice looking and "safe" for keyboards in most colors.  :thumb:

RAS actually looks most like chilli red imo.

The 1u \| key is missing off the main set; also, you may want to split the base set from the novelties.

so we put it in the base kit.

If we add a 2.25u red enter key,
it will add some cost, and break the balance of color matching in some beyboards layout, such as minila , FC660,and HHKB.

If we get success this time. maybe we will consider a full layout design, we can make more novolties and kits to fullfill more users.

My suggestions:

  • A second set of Ctrl-Super-AltGr-Menu keys in P/P/A kit (with AltGr instead of Alt)
  • Alt layout support (colemak, dvorak, workman). For DSA, simply add regular FJ & deep dish HUNT
  • 2 blanks in P/P/A kit for grid layout users

Some of the best key sets manufactured, recently, include a six units space bar that may add to the 18xx and HHKB layouts some authenticity. You may want to explore the option to include one if SP has the molds to build it with centered and off centered stems. It may expand the coverage of the set and attract a bit more demand; while, the six unit space bar is not that popular yet, getting it later, in the same exact color may be unfeasible.

Man this set is looking so good but I'd have to buy all four kits to get the keys I need (HHKB just for 1.5u Delete, P/P/A just for white "\|")  and then I'd still have two keys reading "Delete" right next to one another :/

A red enter for normal boards could look pretty cool as well, I would imagine.

Guys, thank you so much about your feedbacks . We have got some improvement about this groupbuy.

1. We have made a Massdrop voting page, you can chose the kits you love. We are likely to go with MD.
https://www.massdrop.com/vote/DSA-Wolf-Mark-for-Planck-Preonic-Atomic-60-Minila-FC660M-WKL-HHKB

2, Infact we have got the quotation from SP, and the price seems to be accceptable at MOQ100, 150,200。
If under 100 sets ,the price is too high.

3, according to some feedbacks ,we added some keys, and will upload the new pics soon.

The only problem here is that it's another amazing DSA set that I will have to choose between!
Probably TeX'ing right now.

Can you add international (norde) kit? Same keys as in mitos goodspeed kit of the same name. First drop point set to max 25.

Any chance for 1 or 2 paw prints 1u in RAS? I am def down for a base + 60%. I'd be more enthusiastic about SA or DCS, but I like DSA on the 60% boards.

Just noticed a small mistake in the HHKB rendering: There should be CTRL where the CAPS LOCK key is.

Why? You can buy blank DSA keys right now on PMK, no need to include them in the drop.

Not in all colours. So there is a need to make sure there are matching blanks.

Hmm, I thought something was off.

One of the Atomic layouts allows for 1.25u bottom row keys with the 2u space bar -- 8 of them actually.  Have you considered supporting that layout?

One thing that bothers me about the design of the last release of Atomic is that, compared to Planck which is dead symmetrical, Atomic starts to squeeze the user towards the left like almost all other keyboards with such tendency starting from the 60% keyboard up to the full-size keyboard where the user is mostly squeezed typing on the left corner of the keyboard.

Why can't the Atomic be deisgned as 14 grid or 16 grid, so that everything can really be dead-centered?
It's an ortholinear anyways.

Yeah, I kind of agree.  It's not perfect.  Compromises had to be made.  /shrug

Edit: I could probably make a 16x5 symmetric grid work.

Oh I just found out it's only ABS..!
If I buy this set, I'll not dare to use it because I don't want it to develop the dirty-oily looking 'shine' like those on used ABS caps.
It'll just sit in the storage.

I really want this set to be PBT.  :(

p.s. And I really hope the next release of Atom have 14 or 16 columns.

wow. This layout is so crazy. I like the left part of your layout, but the right Shift is hard to hit correctly if it's too small.
that's according to my expierence.

If you look at this album, obviously the white balance is all over the place... I would guess the first photo is most accurate?
