I will probably have Dolch order and payment time to 1 month... then see if we are to MOQ and decide what to do if not.

As I understand it, PLUM is still waiting for the particular PBT material (still for the sample run) to be delivered from Japan... same supplier as Topre uses. Apparently they are stupid slow, probably sent surface freight.

Seems the factory has not yet received materials. So no samples sent to Ivan yet.

Yup, looks like Ivan will run a GB for that set (GMK Dolch, Cherry profile doubleshot) once this one is done. I think it will be rather popular. I know I'll be ordering at least one set (if it has a 1.75x right shift option).

and the Cherry legends. Notice that the font is thicker. Also the winkey and the right click key are different.

Additionally, they would sound and feel slightly different due to a much greater thickness, and most likely have different texture too (can't confirm the texture part).

Oh goodness, those were the 3rd ugliest legends I have ever seen. 1st would be the Deck keyboard legends, and 2nd would be the rest of the "gamer" style legends.

Their 2nd generation doubleshots have much nicer looking legends though.

How were you able to tell the thickness of the keycaps just from the thicker font???

You can't. But real Dolch and legit replicas, and Ivan's groupbuys in general are known to be thick.

TaiHao is known to be thin because it's so cheap.

The MOQ wasn't met on the ergodox set so it's not getting produced.  You could order the Ergo dox set for his other GB here, but it doesn't look like that will meet MOQ either.
