PBT, plastic?

Could this help hurting fingerpads?

Any ideas?

Ripster, feel free to chime in.

As always--thanks ....cannot say how much value everyone has and continue to bring me.

Are you hammering away and bottoming out?  Probably the best solution is to practice typing with a light touch. I recently tried orings, but I'll be removing them. Losing 1/4 of the key travel is not worth it. I was getting fingertip pain from hammering on the ipad too hard. A few days of conscious effort to go soft has worked wonders.
Welcome to geekhack -- where we like to type -- but don't care so much about reading.

Actually, I don't hammer on the keys but I am expected to type fast.  I consciously make an effort to use a light touch but there are times when having to work speedily I've wondered if hammering.  I luv my Filco but am looking for a fix.  I would try just about anything.  Other ideas appreciated.  Thank you . . .
