The non-special 60% pcb is compatible.
You should check which arrays the switch plate supports.
So Nerd60 and FaceW PCBs are compatible, correct?
That sounds good. So I can use my 60% standard PCB (FaceW, GoN60, GH60 etc) with one of your plates?
It’s top mounted, so the pcb isn’t mounted to anything, it’s just held there by the switches.
The port is in the standard position.
As long as your pcb isn’t weirdly large, you can use any pcb you want. If you get a universal plate, you can use any pcb that supports any of the layouts the plate supports.
But if you wanted to use something more unusual, like a 64key with arrows, you could get a custom plate and use that instead.
There are probably a few random edge cases where the pcbs are poorly made so the port is out of alignment or the pcb is too wide or something, but those should be rare.
Any normal 60% pcb should work.
