So, I guess the new 62g spring is the new definitive spring.

This might be just what I need for my mx blue switches.
MX Blues w/ 62g gold springs are sooo nice, they feel smoother, and I put a 72g one in my spacebar, and it all around feels very fluid and comfortable to type on

The Latest  62g  v1.2 has just produced a week ago, evaluated as not bad.  It has exceptionally smooth surface, reinforced elasticity  (plus 20-30% than v1.1)
So, it may need minimal lube, imo.

How much lubricant do you reckon i  would need to buy to do a TKL board, im just planning on doing 1 set of springs in my filco + pexon cable mod, stickers if i can get some while i'm at it. I prefer red over black switch but i'm hesitant messing around with soldering the filco over and over as a newbie

Ktytox pure oils have heavy density 1.8-1.9g/ml  at the room temperature.  Water is 1g/ml as we know.  Krytox oil 1g is roughly 0.8x 0.8x 0.8cm dimension, not small at all.
I prefer minimalist lube for the switches, springs and stabs for a TKL with 0.2 - 0.3g
So I guess 1g will be quite enough for a board, in general.   But Tastes vary a lot,  IMHO.

Are the stabs genuine Cherry stabs?  Even the gold ones?

Thanks!

Cherry genuine original Zinc plated stabs + my custom Gold plated wires
The result is so smooth surface, less friction and oxidation, not just bling bling, IMO

Hey sprit, if I want to get stabs with gold wires, do I need to order these two items on your form?  The last item is just gold wires only, right?  Thanks :)

Hello!  ;)    Due to the complexity,
-   Normal stab set as independent, Many ppl want that.
-   The Wires Only as independent, many already got plastic parts, so they want wires only.

-   Added *  :  Stab Plastic parts  +  Gold Wires 1 set

Can we order gold wires + plastic bits as an option instead of only gold wires?  In my situation, I would need the plastic bits and would love to get the gold plated wires  :thumb:

Thats why I chose the stabs and springs, they are like butter. Cherry stabs stock suck, and make green switches feel awful, so thats why I got the stabs, and I got the springs that best matched blue springs, because they are a lot smoother and I don't get the springy feel as much now.

That plate looks soo good  :thumb:

A few days ago I received my springs and stab wires package but only now had some time to test the stab wires. My first impression, the surface is much more smoother than stock or stainless steel ones. The stabilized keys feel much better ballanced and the friction is close to zero with no lube. I have to test also some lube my guess is the feeling will be amazing. I will test some more  also with 7u wire.
So far I can say these are awesome, the small things that make a great typing experience.  :thumb:
Great work

Yes,  current 62g are  all v1.2   (old versions are out)  but might need to produce 100 sets more in late May.  I'm Not Sure.
Have made the version notes in the form too.

-  The Springs are mostly leftovers from GB R2.   I got a people to pack and go to Post for shipping Springs only.
-  60g, 65g, 68g are  v1.1 from R2.
-  50g, 72g, 78g, 100g, 120g, 135g  got a New jewelry gold plating factory in the late R2, produced as v1.2 with different process and technics.
-  At this moment, No stock for 55g, 85g at all.
-  50g, 65g, 68g, 72g, 78g, 100g  are running low stock  below 25-30 sets.  62g v1.2 are under 50 sets.
-  I will do IC, whenever need to produce them again.

Got a small shipment:

Frosted plate, small amount of Krytox (planning on mixing with EK Mechlube 2 for Ergo Clears), Gold stabs for Orion V2. He also found some limited run 55g springs (three 78g springs were also included). Tons of "Fragile" stickers as well, which look pretty awesome.

Thanks again sprit! :thumb:
