I bought them alone and have zero K1 board.

Sometimes the seller would kept the board itself and GID /  accessories get sold then I snatched them.

I don't remember exact number of how many I have but it should be round 60 after collecting them in past 2 years.

Most renderings of gmk sets are horrible. I didn't like your set at all until I saw it photographed in real life.

Here is my Sailor Radio H2099 keyboard, a Cherry G80-1800 HAU, with OG double-shots and a khaki case "made in Denmark".

It was meant to be used on marine boats with the Sailor Radio Compact 2000 "GMDSS":
Quote
The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) is an international system that uses terrestrial and satellite technology and ship-board radio systems to ensure rapid, automated alerting of shore-based communication and rescue authorities, in addition to ships in the immediate vicinity, in the event of a marine distress. Under the GMDSS, all cargo ships of 300 gross registered tonnes and upwards and all passenger ships engaged on international voyages must be equipped with radio equipment that conforms to international standards as set out in the system. The basic concept is that search and rescue authorities ashore, as well as shipping in the immediate vicinity of the ship in distress, will be rapidly alerted through satellite and terrestrial communication techniques so that they can assist in a co-ordinated search and rescue operation with the minimum of delay.

A very few of those seem to be in the hands of Cherry collectors, so I feel extremely lucky that I scored that board! I've modded the alphas to 62g SPRiT v1.2 springs, lubed the whole keyboard with thin Krytox, and added that nice Camo Reaper from BroCaps 420 sale.

funderburker, in real life the green is much more like on that last picture. I took the photos at the end of the day and there was really low light, so the green is way to dark on my pictures. But I liked the ambiance it gives so I decided to go ahead with those. :)

Cherry cases cost maybe 2 bucks, I wonder why they don't see a market for them. At $10 each they could sell really well.

Yup, I figured. Still, that moss green is really nice. I'm a sucker for greens (colors, edibles, smokables :D)

Winkeyless is not produced anymore, but there are many of them around Taobao and they pop up on Ebay from time to time if you know where to look

The easiest and most surefire way to get a WKL layout 1800 though, is to build your own (1800 cases are dirt cheap, you can procure a plate by ordering one yourself from a laser cutting place or buy them from Kin25, and buy custom MX1800 PCBs from Leeku himself or resold via Kin25

Damnnn. How did you find the Goupil prism case? The shape and matte dark grey/black is hot.

As an aside, how much does professional painting for these cases cost? And sorry to be that person, but is cerakote an option with plastics ;)

You can't cerekote plastics unless it can withstand 300c temps for multiple hours and even then you might have a tough time
I've never done it before, but I'm pretty sure I'm good at it

I wouldn't paint that case unless you REALLY don't want to have the logo

Don’t worry, I wouldn’t dare paint a rare case like that one. I’m thinking of painting your stock standard cherry g80 case to have that matte dark grey colour (similar to Dolch PAC I guess)
