"It feels old school"
« on: Fri, 24 February 2012, 18:04:35 »
Been lurking for a while, did a tons of research (the wiki's here are great!) and decided on a Leopold F200RT/AW -- white with MX brown switch. I ordered it from EK and had it in hand 6 days later.

When I opened the package, I must say the keyboard was heavier than I though it would be. I immediately started typing away even though it wasn't plugged in and got a big grin on my face. My wife came over, looked at me funny, then bent over a pressed the keys a few time. "It feels old school," she said and walked away.

I thought that was the best review I could have given this thing so I just had to post it!

Thanks guys, and I hope to be contributing more often in the future.

Here's to hoping that you wrote that on purpose.

LOL oops.

I had to go back and make sure I didn't accidentally end the sentence there. :D Of course it all depends on what comes next. If it was immediately followed by "and puked all over my face" I doubt anyone would be reading much into it, right? :juggle:

I love it. It's very sturdy, nothing feels cheap on it at all. The keycaps have a nice feel and the brown switches are perfect for me. It's a great keyboard. My typing speed has really improved too, although that's not why I got it.
