This is a new one for me. Instead of things that were read being marked unread, every thread was just marked read for me.

Hmm, that is a new one. I am still on the stage of things that have been read being marked unread.

Kept getting server not found on my iPhone. On safari and chrome. But a reboot did the trick.

Maybe a stale DNS cache?

Posts show as timing out but are actually posting.

Maybe the double post bug is back?

None of my formatting buttons work when replying to a post. So adding bold, center, font sizes, or even trying to insert a comment when I'm on the reply page.

I am using Windows Edge though....

hello yes i'd like to report a bug

some pages don't load properly when i open them from external links, such as google searches or links within posts

they are loading correctly when i open them by clicking page buttons within threads as well as when i open the first page of a thread from the index

i am using windows 7 and google chrome

also threads and subforums are not updating that they're unread if i'm the latest post in them

thank you very much

When I browse through Unread or Watched, if the last replay is very recent (2-3 minutes) the topic won't get marked as read. If I come back to it minutes later it will. But if during the 2-3 minutes after the reply I go several time to this thread it will never get marked as read, only after I reach this "invisible time" limit.
I'm not sure if I'm being clear.

Although if I browse a thread from spy, I can click it a second after a new reply, it will be marked read.

When I try to multiquote, it doesn't always work.  Sometimes I'll just end up with one post that I want to quote showing up or the posts become mixed in with one another.  o_O

sth's blog again thread is really screwing with the formatting.

Top of the page starts like this:

109165-0

Halfway down the page this happens:

109167-1

The bottom of the page looks like:

109169-2

In Firefox on OSX.

This was happening in a lot of threads after the recent rebuild, but I haven't really seen any occurrences for a while, but sth's thread seems to trigger something bad.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The notifications item no longer shows in tapatalk.

It still works for other forums so I'm assuming something has changed here.

You can see the notifications item for DT

PM email notifications seem to be arriving super late during peak hours, up to 4+ hours late. During midnight/early mornings, they're maybe 30 mins delayed.

Occasionally new replies to posts won't mark as read to me. I'll go to "Show new replies to your posts", see a new posting, read the most recent posting, but then if I click on "show new replies to your posts" again, that thread will still show up as unread, even if nothing new has been posted. This only happens very occasionally, but it does.

I still seem to be receiving notifications when I am not subscribed to anything. Can an admin fix this? I have removed everything and there is nothing to 'unnotify'. But every so often I get an e-mail in from geekhack which says '

Even though IRC is linked in the menu bar I don't think it is an official part of geekhack, so I'm not sure they can do anything to fix it.

it's not, it's freenode, we are powerless to fix it if it's broken

but it could also be a browser cache issue, as it's working fine on my end

Android. And they seem to be working at least for quotes.

And email notifications come in spurts. Like I'll get 4 or 5 them nothing for a while then a few more.

Did you just make this post from the same device, or did you have to log in elsewhere?  I'm not seeing any errors associated with the IP used for this post, other than potential issues with overlapping abswyfe.

I'm still not getting attached images in Tapatalk.

It's hit or miss for me.

I'm fairly consistently getting new post notifications and PM notifications in Tapatalk on iOS.

I'm still getting zero tapatalk notifications on iOS. Am I the only one?

Mine are all coming through on iOS.   You try restarting your phone and all the usual stuff?

Hmmm ... sounds like it's probably something on my side. I've restarted my phone a couple times, uninstalled and reinstalled Tapatalk, disabled and re-enabled notifications through both the Tapatalk app and the Setting panel, and even tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to a couple different threads but nothing has worked.

Figured out what the issue was. I was/am using the last version of Tapatalk Pro (3.0.1) that was released before they abandoned it. I installed the latest version of Tapatalk Free (5.4.0) and notifications are working again.

Really don't like the new layout and the ads on some forums so I might keep both installed, one purely for notifications and one that is actually usable lol

Glad you got it figured out.  :D  Shame about having to update though, each revision is worse than the last.  :|

Totally agree, just when I think they can't make the interface anymore counterintuitive they find a way. I suppose that's why it's only got 1.5 stars in the AppStore

They've ruined tapatalk. I'm running an older version on Android because I couldn't stand the newer one. And I also was a paid pro user before they did away with it.

On the topic of notifications, mine seem to be working on tapatalk but it is odd how email pm notifications still seem to come in batches.

Not that big of a deal, but has anyone else noticed that their post counter is stuck?

I noticed that I have the same post count as I did the day before yesterday, and I've posted at least 10 time that should have counted.

The mods froze them to stem the tide of people going for 50 posts to get into the brocaps sale.
