I think he split it up originally to give people the options of different colored modifier keys (RGB vs grey/blue). Personally I'd just want him to go RGB/yellow arrow keys and match the picture in the first pic so we can all get the lower 50 person price, but that's because those are the options I want and I'm selfish. :-)

I would go along with what the group wants? can we vote for consensus rules for price breaks?

Just to be annoying and talking about that ISO thing

Why not ordering for future MO an ANSI/ISO keyset with ansi base and these 4 keys included in the price ?
it won't increase the total price so much and you'll get more order so a lower price due to the higher number.
What do you think about this ?
Realforce 105 FR, HHKB Pro 2 black, 1 Raptor K1 Black Cherry and 1 Raptor K1 Red Cherry , Compag MX 11800  tBrown Cherry, G80-3000 Clear Cherry , G80-1000 Blue Cherry / Ghetto red, Lexmark 1992 SSK Buckling spring, Unicomp 2011 Customizer 102 Buckling spring
and a few rubber dome/scissors keyboards from Apple/Logitech

Very Sorry to do this, but this GROUP BUY is officially CANCELED!

This did not work out as I planned, mainly the way I tried to do it with a few different options.
However future group buys should go much smoother, I've learned a lot more this time around than my first single key buy.
Just because this did not work out doesnt mean I won't be trying again soon (although a diff colour scheme).

Look for a diff MO from me soon. It will be ONE option, with maybe a numpad addon.
I'm thinking black on very dark gray, something Harrison was considering doing.
Also I've gotten @10 canceled orders last 2 days, another reason this is done.

Please don't forget the few ISO keys (not as option but in the main set), I believe you will attract much more interest.

Damn, I was really looking forward to these. Anybody else want to pick this up and just narrow down the options to the most popular ones? If so, I'd be in.

if you did just 2 options of full or 10keyless then you should have vote of stepped or non stepped caps and other rather minute stuff people would care about

Please, please, please do another attempt at this. As sad as it is to people who won't get their option, in the interest of the majority you ought to consolidate it to just one option -- the most popular. This way will make the most people happy.

If you do it this way, I believe the most popular options were the base set + B + C, I think you will get enough interest to keep prices low. And it would make me very, very happy.

I would be so willing to do this but I'm not located in the US of A to make this worthwhile.

Based on your reply, did you have to stop this because of some 'copyright infringement' crap or whatnot?

While I'm sad to see this die, I can't justify dropping this much money on a set that will be missing keys that I'd need to get a full set for the board I'm wanting to outfit. To those that are grumpy with people that want ISO or numpaf, just think how you'd feel if the base set only included keys that wouldn't fit or fill up your board (like L enter, caps angled for rows, etc).

I'd love to see this happen, but in my case it would need to be German ISO + tenkey. Anything shy of that would leave my board looking like it had teh mange.
