So you think 2x3x4 LEDs would do the job? I can solder it and bend them down I think.

I shipped out 2 orders today. I was quite busy.

Working my way through the list. Ordered more bubble wrap.

For people asking for extras, I usually just sell them as I need/feel too. I will post in this thread next time I sell something, if I don't do it privately.

This was my first time doing side mounted leds and I was surprised at just how easy it was once I got one or two under my belt.

65g zealios and top side leds mounted.

Unfortunately this is where I'm stuck until my dremel comes in so that I can mod the acrylic Tex case that I have so that it doesn't interfere with the side leds.

Well i went to the parts store and bought a set of hand files to file down the braces so the board would fit and here are the results:

With the top lights on there is a little bleed through which causes the red underlighting to appear a little pinkish on top.

Much darker red with the top lights off.

For only my second build, I am really happy with it. The 65g zealios with o ring modded keys feel just as good to me as my real HHKB.

At least you're not stuck with Feng's Jelly POM group buy that is still going on after 10 months, and almost none of the sets are shipped (the funny thing is that he is still looking for another manufacturer, but any sane seller would give their customers' money back if they want to - regarding the condition). This group buy is actually great - I'm really amazed by LeandreN attitude towards it and the feedback he gives us.

Very pleased with everything, the plate looks amazing.
Some pics here (sorry for the potato - imgur scaled it down so hard $:-\$ )

Mounted some switches on to see if it fits nicely and it does!
I'll be using 65g Zealio's for this build.

As I read in this thread that a tex acrylic case needs modification and I don't have tool to do this, here my question: Could somebody recommend me a good looking case for background lighting purposes?

See for example Portkins build. He mentioned that he needs to modify the case.

The modification is required because the side LEDs hit the support beams and the pcb cannot sit flush to be screwed in.

It wasn't hard though. I lined up the board and turned on the LEDs to mark where the LEDs interfere with the case (I used a water soluble marker that wiped off when I was done) and then used a hand file (that I bought for like 3 US dollars to file down the required spots).

I am at a baseball game right now, but as soon as I get home I'll take a photo of the inside of the case.

I think the SMD leds at the rear inteferes with the "lines" inside the case.

No reason to believe it wouldn't be - GON's PCB is poker compatible and the case lists being compatible with the poker 2/pok3r.
