Firstly, those are the copyright dates from the label on the back. It's extremely rare for anyone to attempt to gather proper empirical evidence for product and variant timeframes. That's what
Keycombo was created for, but very few people seem to understand what I was trying to do.
If you look at the examples on the AEKII page, only one—the Mitsumi example—depicts an actual manufacturing date of anything (1991-08-23 I assume).
Secondly, the Deskthority wiki doesn't require anyone to beg permission to edit it: if you have more data, add it. It doesn't write itself. If you doubt the accuracy of what's on the wiki, gather up more accurate data and correct the offending pages. Be sure to include photos or references to prove your assertions so that, this time around, there will be no doubt.
