Can't stop looking at this one, soooo close to my avatar :P

I should have new pics sometime in the next couple of weeks, got a Vader on its way soon!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

all 3 of my wins were $50. Surely one of them had to be a doubleshot!

I don't, because I know my Clack collection is not going to grow much, if at all, and I enjoy seeing these little creations that other people cherish.

Congratulations on your acquisitions, those who have them, some very nice designs, especially the black/yellow one.

I believe the key Halverson received had fitment issues, something with the stem, so he shipped it back to CC and he repaired/reshot the base.

That still annoys me. So little planning and checking of measurements went into that before he lopped the stem off.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Shouldn't it still be possible? I mean the Jack is already trashed so whats wrong with trying.

Well BS caps are much taller and I'm pretty sure he's not going to be able to actually fit a BS stem in underneath due to the difference in width and depth.

You could still hollow out the inside somewhat and wedge the lower half of a 2 piece M keycap inside.

The remains of the Clack would not fit all the way down, but a little temporary ashesive, even some Blue Tak, should hold it.

Hmm... I wonder if clack would fix this guy's Jack then   ;D (NSFL warning)

That still annoys me. So little planning and checking of measurements went into that before he lopped the stem off.

If I had the cap I'd give it a shot, or at least glue in a topre or MX stem.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

"If I had the cap ..." - I wonder how many times those words have run through GHers minds ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'd take a couple, drill holes in their left eyes, guide them onto a string, then lube them up and use them as Clanal beads.

Shh, it's ok, you don't need to have everything.
