Also, can we have an option for an all-yellow set, including the mods?

We'll include that option in the groupbuy but if it does not gather enough orders we may have to cancel it.

Currently producing a prototype keycap :] Will update with pics soon!

Please insert Ctrl key...  :-X

or

Please change Alt to Logo keys

i have coffee set
but i dont understand why not exsist ctrl
only exsist Alt key  :(

Alt key alone put on my keyboard. verry sad.

I agree with this, there needs to be a ctrl key. If anything just replace the windows logo with the honeycomb. Also it is pretty amazing that this set showed up when it did  ;)

Deus Ex: Keyboard Revolution?

Like the color scheme, might be doing a PC build with similar yellow+black theme

This looks sooooo awesome! I cannot wait for this!

Edit: In terms of yellows, I would be fine with a "yellow yellow." :D Just like your chocos!

Dark gray would be awesome instead of black, but I would probably get it either way.

We have good news and bad news...
The Polycarbonate keycaps did not turn out so well so we currently only have the option of having them on Yellow translucent keycaps with white legends.
It is either that or we do them on standard black with yellow legends.

We will produce more prototypes with a lighter black to check contrast! We have a feeling it will turn out nicely.

We do have some questions for the community.
Would a translucent yellow beehive crtl/windows key be appealing?

Let us know your feedback!

That sample would be kinda hard to see the legends without backlighting, and will probably vary depending on the colour of the backlighting (with white and yellow likely producing the best results).

Yellow translucent with white legends looks good!

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

i don't mind translucent yellow keycaps with white legend for the bee (esc key)
however, if the same is applied to the bottom row (ie. ctrl, alt, windows, context menu), i feel that it makes the whole set more yellow (not that i'm against yellow (which i like... esp translucent ones!)
since the original layout has these keys as the 'black' or darker 'border', would it be possible to have translucent black with yellow legends?

also, is it possible for the keys with the diamond and star, be something else (more related to the set)?

Better go back on standard

I agree as well.  Better to retain the original look of the key-set with vivid yellow and black.

After all design of these key-caps needs to include the original design and do not deviate away from it.  Because SP is having great trouble in working with polycarbonate then best to let them do what they do best, simple ABS with the required colours.

Remember if you want a unique looking key-set for everyone out there you need to stick with the original design, that will sell quicker than some Dark coloured polycarbonate set, that relies on heavy keyboard lighting, to highlight the design.

Oh, just realized--the chocobo cap is yellow on black, and the cap on the left is yellow on some sort of very dark gray. Or is that lighting?  They look different on both photos.  Both look good!

The keycap on the left is yellow on a lighter dark/gray color while the chickobo keycap is on pure black

Very nice.  I told you Yellow and Black go together like a house on fire.

I don't know if Dark Grey will have the same effect with allowing the yellow to stand out brilliantly but it's worth a try.

That's true, the yellow really pops on pure black.  Both color schemes are nice in different ways.  Black would be great on pure black keyboards, but dark gray for most other cases.

Hell yeah I was there! The first good thing to happen in RI (in my lifetime)! Me and two friends went all 3 days. 20 minute drive from his house. That's the best thing about RI. No matter where you are, you can get to your destination (in RI) in less than an hour. Other than that, this place has noting to do.

Also. Did you do the scavenger hunt / go with a friend? I feel like I talked to someone from Ohio haha. WHAT IF WE MET.
