Would it be possible to make RGB sets with cycloverid's "Moogle Kit 2: Supplement Cherry Double Shots" molds without increasing the price?

Pretty sure the OP said that varying the colors counts as a separate run, i.e., price increase.

There will be an RGB kit to match the 'Moogle Kit 2'. Price will be higher than plain text keys.

Totally unrelated: I got a message from SP that they have the 4 units space bar for the Tipro TM-KMQ-128A etc.
The only issue is that they only have it in SA-family (spherical). On the other hand, the keystems can be shortened to match the profile of the DCS family!

The Tipros require only 1 and 1.5 units keys and are therefore very suitable for SP's spherical key caps!

It will be

ROUND3/STD

No color-code necessary, because there will be only the Grey/Dark Grey color scheme.

Awesome, thank you for the reply!
By the way, is there maybe an additional modifier set that includes a bigass enter key, third row |\ key aswell as third row right shift(the same size as a STD capslock)?
Basicaly I'm looking for a complete set/combo to match a SteelSeries 6Gv2 board.

I think it will cause space to be GE (Gray) and you would need to order ROUND3/SPACE/BLACK to get the GX (Very Dark Gray) one.

The GEEKHACK kit comes with q w e r t y u i o p etc.

edit: It comes with 8 keys, so these will be only
g e e k h a c k.

The other with 26 keys is made up of SP's standard font.
$20 can only be valid if we use SP's standard font.

I'm assuming that a white on black windows kit would be WINDOWS/WA/NN?

Hi, for now I'm only interested in a couple of REDESC keys. Will it need 25 (or minimum run) buyers for these to be included in this group buy? And if it's done, how much is the estimate cost for these + shipping to Europe (PT)? Thanks.

How would you write it to get a Noppoo choc mini fitting set including:

- AND all the other keys (numbers, F keys and mofidiers (ctrl, enter, backspace and so on except spacebar of course) in white on black?

Thanks, but that key is all capsized with another font (albeit a different color too). REDESC from what I understood should be a copy of the original Cherry red Esc, as already asked by Atenacius. Meanwhile I'll try to contact Fentek, as the current (and uncorrected svg) part seems to originate from a key they also sell from SG.

What is the deadline for entering orders? I would order now but it seems that certain keys from the last group buy (ie - ಠ_ಠ, the codes for the Starcraft keys, several others) aren't in the wiki just yet, and I'd rather enter everything I want all at once.

Thanks!

SPH/STD87/WHITE/RED 1

Question re: the order formatting

Quote
The order-IDs have the following format:
BaseKit/Kit/FGColor/BGColor

Which color refers to the keycap color and the lettering color? It seems that FGColor would be the printed lettering and BGColor would be the keycap itself, but I want to be 100% sure so I don't make a big order that is totally wrong. Thanks

I somehow feel that we should call the color of the letters LetterColor and the color of the keycaps the KeycapColor.

It seems to me, that you cannot choose color for the RETRO style... From wiki:

1980-style off-center, top-left, text in Camel Case.
A-Z and punctuation keys in lightblue on gray, or light gray, maybe some cold white.
Modifiers in lightblue on dark gray with additional RGB on dark gray.

DARK/STD/ORANGE/BLACK

You can't do this... The DARK style comes with centered letters, but RETRO comes with top-left letters. Also the only possible background color (key caps color) for DARK is GREY. So it is possible to order centered orange letters on grey key caps:
DARK/STD/ORANGE/GREY 1

But this is only my opinion which might be wrong

Those are called sphericals in the ROUND FOUR. Look at the OP, then go to the Wiki, then to the Sphericals discussion thread (link at the end of the wiki). I asked that already, here THE ANSWER.

There are some missing molds to make the full set of sphericals, but maybe it will happen. Molds are expensive. If many people order, mold cost will be divided among all.

Where did you get yours from? It would be nice if you could measure the thickness of the wall of you keys.

Then everybody should order some spharicals ;)
Mine caps have a thickness of 3mm as shown in the (now second) picture .
I just wanted to know if my keycaps are from the same "family" and if every key that i am missing could be produced. But as I see there is too little interest in them ... what a shame.

Quote from: maladroid;394958
Can we have the option of using row 3 for every key in the spherical kit?  That seems to be more authentic to how keyboards were typically made pre-1980.
I would really prefer this also.

Btw.: I've got my keycaps from this beauty http://deskthority.net/wiki/Blaupunkt_CEPT-Btx-C1_Keyboard ... if you would participate and also add some knowledge, like me, it would be great and a help for everyone.
I still don't know who produced these caps but I think it could be the work of Cherry.

DARK/STD/ORANGE/BLACK

i'd really like to have an orange on black retro set as well!
so as i think that color options are not really set in stone at this point, it suggest adding an orange on black option!
(cause this will look awesome)
centered legends don't appeal to me, as well as orange on grey is kinda meh, so gimme RERTO/STD/ORANGE/BLACK !
well, a black on orange alpha-set to combine would make it even better, but i doubt there will be enough interest on that one :/

Fully-centered and BIG-ASS are just fine for me as it remember perfectly the 8 bits from the 80s (c64, Amstrad/Schneider, Atari 800, Acorn, Oric, Apple II (despite being down off-centered, this one was BIG-ASS again), ...)
Remember the 1984 Apple Macintosh and the Atari ST, despite being professional 16-bit at this time, were themself (off-centered, ok),  large-lettered and bold.

Personally, I do not see which computer of the 80's you're matching with the RETRO off-centered camel cased labels... IBM PC from the 80's ? Does anybody have some details and/or samples of  this 'retro' reference?

You don't know how much interest will be until the end of the year. That with the row three I also find very interesting.

At the time the group starter 7bit seems to have little time, normally he answers very fast. Just keep posting on the sphericals to keep them in peoples' mind:)

I wanted to know how thick the plastic of you keys is. I thing it should be about 2mm which is really nice. The thickness of the wall is related to the sound of the keys:)
