Got mine today. My black keyboard is at work so I can't compare that one, but the white matches up really closely with my HHKB. You can tell that the shade is a bit different if you actually look closely, but under normal viewing conditions the PBT bar looks right at home with the rest of the keys. All of my bars have no warping that I can notice, so I'm happy with that as well. The blue and red bars look nice too. I really only bought those just because, but I may actually consider using the red one in conjunction with a red ESC. I took pics of the white bar and the red setup:

Dunno about forcible delays but mine sure didn't hit the estimated date, haha. I wouldn't have thought it would be delayed down south, though maybe that was just USPS jumping the gun.

a_ak57, I'm guessing that's a red ESC from EK? If so, I'll have t okeep an eye out for a restock on the blank reds. Both I and my FC660C are quite excited.

Does anyone know if the blue PBT spacebar matches the blue ESC from this EK set: https://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,toprekeys&pid=pd_kb400kt01 ? If so, well, shoot. I may have to get a HHKB to match as well...

Always hard to say but...

The Red Topre ESCs I've seen are darker than the red ctrl...which might be different than the red RF set although in some pictures they look the same and some they look different...

I'll be able to compare it to the red esc I have and the red RF set I have once I get them in..

Yeah, the red ESC is indeed darker than the spacebar. I thought that was just due to the difficulty of matching perfectly, but since the red ctrl looks brighter I'm guessing matteo matched that for the spacebar. Your mileage may vary but I don't find the difference in shade that much of a bother anyway, but the ESC and spacebar are fairly far apart so maybe it'd be more of an issue when you have the ctrl there too.

I do feel like my HHKB spacebar (white) now has a nice, deeper sound when pressed. I cannot even remotely tell the difference visually, but will in a few months when it still doesn't have any shine on it

Got my PBT spacebar in the mail today and it's wonderful, the sound is a much deeper thunk, rather than the sharp "clack" that the ABS one had, I haven't heard the difference between PBT and ABS as large as this one.

The only bad moment was when I was trying to take it off again after putting it back on, to loosen it as matt3o said, It hurt my thumbs like hell. It was almost impossible to get off, a bit painful.

Now that it's on in it's correctly flipped manner, all is well.

That's because DHL apparently doesn't bother tracking these kinds of packages once they leave USA. Using the tracking number displayed under "Delivery by Postal provider" on the DHL page with trackitonline.org shows that my package (on it's way to Sweden) has just arrived at "international place of exchange", whatever that means.

It happens here as well. Problem is if I go personally down to his place to ask for any of my packages, there will be an all out fight, just can't help myself when I see his stupid face.

Space bars are awesome, forgot I had ordered two sets of white + black.

Unfortunately, both of my black space bars have pretty obvious mold/swirl lines on them. The white has it but it's not nearly as noticeable.

it appears to be superficial, I had a couple of those, try to clean it with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

I'm able to track my package using the Swedish post now, by using the tracking number provided by DHL. Unfortunately it says that my package is stuck in Swedish customs at the moment. I have a feeling my spacebars are going to turn out to be very expensive...

The colour matching is damn near perfect. I honestly didn't expect them to be so close.

USPS finally got their stuff together; the spacebars arrived yesterday.

Will probably post pics later, but oh my goodness these look so nice on my Leopold. Feels great, too. One thing to note is that it took a couple tries to properly seat my blue one on the stabilizers--they rattled like crazy the first couple of times, and on the third time I seem to have got it right.

Anyways, good stuff. The Leopold's plate-mounted "thock" works so well with the deeper tone of the PBT spacebars. Love 'em, and thanks again Matt3o for doing this. I just need matching ESC and/or CTRL sets to do them justice.

You could also try #flippedspacebarmasterrace which would show way less of the side of the spacebar to hide any remaining residue!

I got mine in. Wow...very nice. You can't tell by weight, but if you if hit both of them on the side of your desk, you can tell it's more substantial by the lower clunk instead of a higher-pitched clack. Once installed, you can tell easily too.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday and got around to putting one on this morning. Was surprised at how much rougher than the stock keycaps it is, but I think I can get used to it. Thanks Matt3o for all your hard work!
