Tried selling my PS3 on craigslist. So many no-showers...why'd they ever bother responding to my ad then?

Good guy Vibex! Any pics of Tesla would be awesome. Here's to a speedy recovery!
I'll try and get some photos latter. Right now I'm just letting him wander around my yard. He kept getting scared evertime I tried to feed him or give him water, so I figured I should just let him find his own food. If he's still in to much pain to fly or get around by tomorrow I'm gonna take him to the vet.

There's always leftovers.

And that's only about $6 worth of chicken so we could buy more.

My daughter had a "tomato sauce explosion" in the immediate vicinity of her keyboard a while back.

It is a membrane keyboard, but as far as membrane keyboards go it is a pretty nice one.  Even after I don't know how many years it is still as crisp as.

It is a Digital RT3356T winkeyless keyboard in two tone beige.

I spent the last couple of hours disassembling it and cleaning it.

The plate had a layer of dried tomato sauce in the lower left corner, the keycaps had all sorts of gunk over them, and there was a thick layer of dust and hairs between the keys.

I didn't bother going quite as far as disassembling the membrane, as the keyboard basically worked (apart from quite a few gummy keys).

But the keycaps were cleaned in denture tablets and then scrubbed with a nail brush, the case upper was scrubbed with a scourer in the kitchen sink, and it has come up pretty clean.

The various parts are still drying - to be reassembled some time next week.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Decided exactly which mill I will be purchasing this fall/early winter.  I am going to get a Sherline 2000 with factory equipped DRO.  CNC may be in the future but not at this time.  I want to get some experience with machining before I step into the world of CNC.  I don't want to be breaking $40 endmills because I forgot a couple lines of code for a toolpath to clear clamps/vise/the part itself.

A few months ago, I moved my keyboard up from the tray and set it on top of the desk. A month ago, I removed the tray entirely.

Now I am going to put my tray back in so I can get the keyboard lower. My chair doesn't go as high as I want to qqqqqq
