Damn nice set up. First time I'm seeing someone doing something like that for his home network.

Thanks, yeah I guess I'm a bit of a weirdo haha!  BTW I'm glad you finally got your Bro package!

Oh thanks. I knew it would arrive eventually but I didn't know when! The Customs hurt my little package :'(. What a band of savages.

Had my fingers crossed trying to win my first artisan key... no luck this time but I am gonna keep pluggin away!  I also got my Adesso numpad from Amazon, nice quality I might do a review if there aren't any on it yet.  It is funny how rarely I use the numpad, usually only if I have a lot of numbers to enter.  I got my numpad skills from working at a Video Store rental place in the 90's ... Had a lot of numbers to type there... wow .. I am rambling.

About 16 years ago I did fall asleep while driving took out my right side tires but for the most part I haven't had any issues recently until this week, I even went to bed early last night!

My father stayed 3 months in the hospital a few years ago because he fell asleep while driving and struck head-on a big iron pole. Even after years has passed, he still has some injuries of it. Don't joke with that it can easily cost your life.

In a funnier context, it happened to me a few times to fell asleep at work in front of my computer. Once it even happened when someone from the R&D was teaching me something. It is just so boring when someone does everything on your computer and you are just here to watch.

Did a face to face with a truck on national road when I fall asleep at the wheel a few years ago. Wasn't very funny.

Lol did that happened in class or work?

It happened at my previous job. Sometimes when I get bored I fall asleep pretty easily. I don't sleep for long but once it happened even though I had the mouse in hand and the other hand on the keyboard.

Drank some IPA, it was crap. 95% of IPAs brewed in the UK are not great. Our American bros are so much better at making them, even though we started it  :p

Don't you like Brewdog Punk? Hardcore Punk?

I taste a belhaven IPA a few weeks it was nice actually. Not the best but definitely not the worst.

Belgium is good for beers. In the IPA there is the Bitter XXX which is nice.

I love Bewdog, their Punk IPA is really easy to drink. They make a lot of different styles, I love their Porter style beers. I had one of their 'Libertine Black Ales' last week, stunning beer that, was hoppy/ IPA style combined with a Porter finish, very nice indeed.

Belhaven is OK, its an English style IPA, not a massive fan, its similar to Greene King.

Belgium is awesome for beers, I love Trappist beers, especially brown tripel Trappist styles!  8)

Yeah I really liked the Libertine Black Ale. It is just really nice. So smooth in mouth with the bitter taste of an IPA. It was really surprising the first time I drank it. Have you tried their "Tokyo"? It is a 18° beer which is dark like gasoline and very rich in flavor.

We have a shop near my town called "1001 beers", I'm sure you'd like it. They are close to their name, they have ~900 different beers.

If you like the IPA, the brewery "Mikkeller" does some really nice, like the Green Gold. If you don't know them, I advise you to try them if you can get some. ;)

Not tried Tokyo, I will have a look at their site and see if I can get one ordered.

I'd love to have a shop like that over in Shropshire, I'd never be out if it! I was spoiled rotten when I went to see my friend in London last month, there was a bar called' Jolly Butcher' that was a specialist in craft beer, so many awesome IPAs, Bosko IPA, omg so good:- http://pressuredropbrewing.co.uk/portfolio-item/bosko/

Will see if I can get some Green Gold too :)

I do sign up to a couple of ale drops, you pay a monthly fee and get a selection of 8 limited batch/ small run craft beers every month, its a great way of trying different styles and trying some really whacky beers

Never heard of the Bosko brewery. I'm curious now. :D

Yeah we have something similar here. It is called "Little smoke head" in french, I'm not sure about the translation though.

I don't think it is legal for me to send alcohol through the mail otherwise I could have made you a little parcel of my personal favorite. ;) Well I'm not sure about it, I'll check that out. Perhaps I can.

I have thought about starting a beer trading thread. I'm sure there are plenty of us Beer Snobs that would love to get some of the rarer beers.

That's a good point. I know in the US you can send it through the mail, but didn't think about customs.

Edit: Not USPS, only UPS or FedEx.

Yeah there is one.  Just search for Beer Thread and you will find it.  Probably a couple.

Either way I did a floss mod on my XT.  Here is the before video.
Will just post the link since the embed deal doesn't seem to be working right lately.  The link for the after effect is in the description.

Found out that as of 3 days ago, one of our contracts with an off site storage place had been cancelled. I did think it was strange they hadn't come and picked anything up...

They have to store our backup tapes for another month then destroy them =/
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

My 3 year old left the water running upstairs in our old apartment. We all went to a school function. Stopped back by and found the upstairs and some of the downstairs totally flooded. Spent 4 hours with wet vac only to end up calling a pro anyway. Grrr.
I'm back.

Damn you are a giant. How much do you height? (I'm not sure that's correct way to ask for it).

"How tall are you?"
or (less common, but still correct)
"What is your height?"

 ;)

Thanks. It brings me back to pre-school haha. I can't believe I didn't remember this ...

Makes sense. That explains legalization and sweeping gay rights in the country.

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

She hasn't ever used an actual computer at home, just a phone or tablet but as I was telling her where to put caps she grabs a few letters and is like I know where these go, I was like how do you know, she goes because its just like the keyboard at school. Of course now she says she needs her own keyboard, although I'm not for sure what for, guess I could hook it up to her nexus 7.

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Friday: went to Penarth so see properties. It's on a ****ing high hill. And the wind was really against me visiting the town, so I barely climbed there on the lowest possible gear of my road bike. Saw a lovely house there, but it's too far away from my work. Going to a viewing though steep ascents, noticed I got a flat tire. Nevertheless, I didn't die and was at all the appointments on time.

Friday night: went to a British pub for the first time. Noise level 100dB. All the Russian guys said beer there (and in other pubs where they were) was **** lol. Met some Brits from outside Cardiff, one of them told me that London is great and I should visit it, another one said it's ****. I agree with both of them.

Today: viewed a bunch of apartments. Found one that more or less suits me. It's in a refurbished bakery and flour mill with old columns and rebars right in a flat. But it's ****ing expensive.
