Rented a car for the weekend. Hope I won't hit a street light or something.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I've got flawless driving record so far, but the last time I was behind the wheel was three years ago, with a manual car, right hand traffic and driving seat on the left. Now I'll be having all the opposite.

So far laid in bed. I don't plan to get up all day. Aside from bodily functions. And maybe food. Unless I can teach my dog to cook within the next couple of minutes.

I say invest the time to teach your dog how to cook. That could be useful in the future.

Dropped my tranny pan and changed the filter.

Hung a bug zapper and got the power cord (1.5 feet) inside the wall and swapped out that outlet for a GFCI.

Drilled a hole in the floor behind my entertainment stand and ran a LAN cable to my PS3.

You're clearly a noub Bald, having a mattress in the back of the van make it obvious that you're pedo. You want to use fertilizer bags or things alike to be less obvious.

I was making a coffee with my espresso machine, and the handle with the little thing with the coffee in it kinda fell off.  The pressure of the water that had built up behind it sprayed hot coffeey water all over the tray, adjacent kettle, spare cups and espresso machine itself.

So instead of enjoying a nice espresso I spent half an hour cleaning it all up.

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. In order to stave off the time when There Is No Spoon, I have been gradually collecting spoons (here at work).

Now I have four (4) spoons of two (2) different materials (metal and plastic).

We already have a fork shortage.  I am prepared for the worst (I have a fork too).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Good job.  Spoons are the best utensils.
