Rushed a bunch of tax returns out for FAFSA, however, our cloud service has sucked ass all day and has made everything much more complicated.  I'm now on location doing tax returns for a local Indian tribe until 9:30 :(

They got a pretty good steakhouse in the Casino. I like to play dice in Mount Pleasant and if I win free steak dinner! If I lose it is Pixie for dinner again.

Well, I don't do the tax returns at the actual casino but I've been in there twice and the food wasn't bad.

Typical AD user account management stuff, with one exception. Today kind of sucked because I stepped on a landmine: An old XP machine with failing hardware that we must have running because it's used for state testing and the Scantron software they're using only runs on XP. Tomorrow will be more of the same until that whole mess is sorted out.

Can it be ran in a virtual machine environment?

Got the guides cut for the cross cut sled I am making for my table saw.  Planning on being able to make up to 24" long cuts.  Pretty tall order for this little saw considering the table without the wings (which are coming off) is only 17" wide and 20" deep.

Went to a show on Friday night (Pierce Fulton, pretty good set, crowd was feeling it) which ended up turning into an all-nighter.  Missed the end of absyrd's Silver and Green Horizon eBay auctions due to my hangover. :-X  Now I'm finally a human again.

Went to the gym.  It was deadlifts day on week 5 of Candito's 6 week routine.  490 lbs for 1-4 reps.  I managed 2.  The 3rd never even left the floor.  I was a bit bummed at that given I've pulled 505 previously and had this program was specifically designed around increasing the powerlifting trio.

Though part of it may be some leftover fatigue from having to pause the program for 2 weeks due to getting sick and trying to recover strength.  Still, I made my squat numbers a bit better with 3 reps.  Oh well.  I'll be maxing out next week so hopefully I can do pretty well before jumping into a new routine - possibly back to my modified 351 PL, possibly to Sheiko for 80kg intermediates.

Scrapping this idea for a cross cut sled.  The table top on my sled is nowhere close to flat.  So I am going a different route, and just bought 20 feet of adhesive backed UHMW.  For those not familiar, UHMW is a plastic frequently used in many industries, typically for its high abrasion resistance along with low friction properties.  It is also very easy to cut and shape, so long as you aren't using abrasives.  It is 1/3 the weight of aluminum, but has 15 times the abrasion resistance of carbon steel.  One of its primary downfalls, is it has almost zero load carrying capabilities on its own.  Needs support from another structure.  I have seen this material outlast AR500 steel plate when used in bulk material handling for soybeans.  Soybeans are just as abrasive as media blasting.  Will chew up regular carbon and stainless steels very quickly.

Removing the paint on the realforce plates as well as removing some rust using a vinegar.

Now what I need to do next is sanding these plates so the paint is nicely removed. Can someone help me with sanding and painting plates?

You need to sand before you paint. Not the other way around, that would be counter productive.

With help of a Polish bloke who drove the van, a bunch of Russians, and one big Cornish lad, moved house.

I use wet and dry sandpaper start off with a lower number like 800 sand one way so say left and right then move to 1000 and sand un down then 1200 left right etc. There is probebly a better guide to grots somewhere so this is just an example that depends on if you have not removed the paint

Still, moving is exciting. And lower taxes, so huzzah!
