Was very fast measured in seconds or in minutes?
LOL some joker put up a iron165 on r/mm for $2000 how the hell did that board get that kinda of rep..can't imagine what a **** show this will be
Without sifting through a bunch of comments, anything on pricing yet?
So for pricing.... Keep in mind that a TKL is approx 50% more volume of material to machine (1.179M cubic mm for iron165 vs 1.780M cubic mm for iron180). Material is sold by kg so 50% more material costs. Machine time means 50% more machining. However, we made choices in the design like no through hole weight on the bottom (saves machining time and saves buying a separate brass weight to machine), no detailed engravings like the iron165 badge with a very tight radius. That all said, I would expect that pricing for the aluminum version to be similar (probably a bit more because of seamless case requiring 2x material and maching) to the keycult no1 rev1 all aluminum, and the pricing of the version with a solid brass bottom to be closer to the no2 rev1.
Pricing will be similar to a no1 for the aluminum and no2 for the brass.

I really wish this board had a badge like the iron165.. Such a distinguished design feature that would really show off its smith+rune pedigree

It still shows off the branding, but in a less intrusive manner that is more appropriate for a high-end product.
I love this board but the screws at the bottom are a dealbreaker. Any way you can hide them?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
