Hey Everyone
« on: Sun, 05 July 2015, 12:37:19 »
Hi keyboard nerd friends,

I'm delighted to finally sign up here. I've been into mechanical keyboards for a long time. I've owned a happy hacking keyboard, a deck infinity and now I'm sitting on a v60 mini with rainbow keycaps that I'm attaching a picture of below and considering buying a novatouch. What finally got me to sign up was the exclusivity of bro keycaps so I can't wait to start joining the raffles for some of those.

Hope to meet a lot of you and have a fun time around here,
John

Welcome to Geekhack!

Now that you have signed up, even if mainly for Bro Caps, please feel free to contribute :)

Why did you sell your HHKB (if, indeed, you have sold it)?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
