Needs some help
« on: Fri, 15 April 2016, 21:00:31 »
So, I just painted my keyboard with Kryton Satin White. However, there is a couple of slots that are blotches and some of the card board got stuck to it, so it left some imprints and some fray cardboard bits. I was thinking about wet sanding with 1500 grit to smooth it or what's the best method to fix these issues?

I'm not a pro in painting but I rather remove all the paint and make it again...
Usinge a wet sand is not a bad idea too.
Post some pics.

Looks good.

Yeah... I would have just sanded and repainted just those areas w/ stuck cardboard. Easy.

For future projects for any spraypainter, try to suspend the item rather than lay it on anything that can peel or stick or may cause pooling of the paint.
My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.
