(Green, white and red legend on beige). For the esc key. For lulz.

Actually this how this board will sit, I dont like the white keys with blue keys mixed and then all the red on the board...also for the price of that set I want to use all the keys..hahaha =P

Yea I wouldnt mind just an 87/88 kit , the red alert kit was so big because of the extra keys for all board types and full size, so I probably wouldnt have used all of them anyways.

I wouldnt mind just using /KL setup for his GB and just change the color parameters...

Lol, back to my original idea of Red on back almost.

I'm about to go grab my new Topre out of the mailbox, so what you guys decide to do on dyesubs is irrelephant to me, I'm good with ABS on my cherry boards.

PBT does feel like boobies though. :P

I've done an initial placement of these keys.  This is my keyboard for work, so no actual gaming happening on this keyboard.

There is, however, plenty of Science being done:

Red on Gray or Red on Black would look really clean. Rag and I were talking about it the other day in regards to how amazing the red color looks in contrast with darker base-keys.

Thanks :)  I had to put a few markers on for a few keys I use as part of key combinations while not actually typing.  Touch typing is fine without them, it's that damn hunting and pecking for occasional keys.

Lol I know what you mean. It got so frustrating in SC2 that I bought ninjas instead. I love the look of otaku, but when it starts to get in the way of functionality its a problem.

They have been shipped out to everyone but the Canadians, which will ship out in about a week.

I'm not doing another round until next year, providing SP decides to stay true to their word and does actually run a second set. This one just finished.

I'm sure this is no surprise for most of you, but for reference here are some shots comparing the key profile from my Portal set with row 1-4 caps from a white Leopold Tenkeyless otaku board.  The Leopold caps are row 1, 2, 3, and 4 from left to right.  Note that although these are advertised as row 4 (number/fn key row), they're closest in shape to row 3 on a Leopold board.  (They don't *exactly* match any of the rows.)  Don't get me wrong, the caps are beautiful and I'm pleased, but if you're planning to mix them into a Leopold board then you should know what to expect.

Note that the first two shots are *not* exactly edge-on --- they're from a slightly elevated angle so that you can see the shape of the Leopold caps behind them.  As the third shot shows, purely edge-on shots would not show all four caps.
