I'm looking for Cherry profile keycaps sets for my Poker II (already have the modifiers).  What is available and where can I get it?  :)

What modifiers do you have? Cheapest and fastest will most likely be a doubleshot White on Black set.

Massdrop vortex double shot pbt. Well I think they are cherry profile since their dyesub are cherry profile. I would like a confirmation on this one.

Vortex PBT doubleshots are OEM profile. Cheapest thing is usually a G81-7000H**US, often on ebay for $10-20, only thing is -spacebar since those have a 6x.

Where do you see that it's oem profile? I don't see it mentioned in this thread.

I can see that it is. I have no trouble judging profile from the scale on a photo anymore comparing the dimension ratio of sidewall to top.

Yeah the close ups of the Del/Ins block are a dead giveaway.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I see

Must be so much time spent sorting imsto's keycaps!  :p

Yet anyone can explain why the **** vortex would take the time to make molds for ds pbt and make them in oem profile? I mean, ok, they always used this font, looks not super nice but I can still be ok with it. But oem profile? After producing cherry profile thick pbt dyesub already? Damn I don't get it...

OEM profile is the company's particular profile. For example, my Leopold has a very flat, almost SP-Gamer cap profile, on them while my Filco has a profile that is a taller DCS imo. As a community, we just happen to like the Cherry OEM profile. If no one special requests it, then it seems like they don't want to make someone else's shape. I think a good example is a Corvette. Even the newest model still has the classic Corvette lines. You won't see them stealing the main Ferrari body lines and calling it their own.

Edit: I like Cherry profile too, I'm just offering up a possible explanation.

Then we should change the name we call them and instead go for something like :

low profile -->  cherry profile
medium profile --> SP DCS profile (I think)
high profile --> filco oem profile
super high profile --> SP SA profile (I think)

I might be wrong in my classification, but you get the idea.

I think Vortex is using Tai Hao, which already had OEM profile... but it is only my theory based on how the keycaps shape, thickness, style just like Tai Hao.

Some time ago, maybe like a year since people start calling it oem profile... before then everyone more or less called it Filco profile. It dosen't really matter as long as people know what you are meaning. Cherry profile is just Cherry profile forever and always. SP stuff can stay being called whichever cap family is being talked about.

I'm using the GMK purple modifiers, so I'd prefer something that matches them :P

Well GMK is the exact same as Cherry 100%, so any old Cherry G80/G81-****H**/****H**** boards with doubleshots will be matching perfect.
