I was able to get 2 for 10 bucks each with shipping. Not that bad of a deal to try out clear switches.
3. Some of the switches on my board were a little more worn than others (less tactile). They are used boards so wear varies.
Diodes, yes.

I wasn't expecting them, the Cherry part number for the board didn't indicate NKRO at all. The diodes look like they'd just pop out of the switch bodies when they're desoldered. Alternatively, since they're PCB mounted, you could just pop the switch tops off and take the stems....half the amount of desoldering!
I was trying to figure out what the total would be. So $15 shipping each board? Or $15 shipping for both?
I don't get it... how are you guys getting it for that cheap when the seller has it for $20? It shows $35 shipping. Are you not getting charged for shipping? I'm located in CA.
Has anyone tried using the Cherry software on one of these? If so, where did you find it? The only download I'm seeing on Cherry's site for the G80-8113 is manuals.
sorry im new to mechanical keyboards but would you guys recommend this board or this one http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?16728-TG3-Data911-Backlit-Touchpad-Cherry-Mechanical-Keyboard. also can i replace the keycaps on either of them easily?
Well I looked at it again and it has shipping: one price, then a YOU SAVED $7.70 on SHIPPING!
And in the payment field it was the lower price. I never looked that far. Whatever.
I got one for $25 shipped. I think I'll repaint this black.
Nah, I need my function keys.
get a used filco and pry that sucker open
(...) plus a crapton of extra keys that could be programmed (with stuff like auto hotkey, I would think) to do anything including macros (...)
If you don't feel it when pressing the key normally, I think there's something wrong (crud in switches perhaps).
Damn, this keyboard smells. Other than that it's a sweet board. I'm going to need to pop these switches into another board, preferably one with a smaller footprint.
made the offer $7.5 for one a couple of days ago. and shipped out today. no idea what to do with it if in bad shape....

Did I get cheated? I didn't want to lowball the guy... Could have saved another $5...
just got both of mine from him and loving the clears. paid $30 total including shipping. anyone know if the pcb can be modded AKA hacksaw'd and still work, the touchpad/tenkey is rather space consuming and i hve no need for it
