Help with some rattly stabs
« on: Mon, 10 July 2017, 18:26:22 »
I'm not really too sure where to post this but there's this weird thing where one side of my space bar would go down about 1mm before the other side starts to go down, and it makes this kinda annoying rattling sound. When I built the keyboard I clipped and lubed all the stabilisers, and I even added a little more lube to the rattling side of the space bar. As far as I know these are real Cherry stabs, they're even the fancy screw in ones. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I got everything from the S65-X kit from Sentraq.com.

Here's a video of the stabs:https: //goo.gl/photos/HB6a8odrEjkhRTpD7

Check to see if the stabilizer wire has popped out of the clip on one side.

As far as I can tell both ends of the wires look like they are inside the inserts.

Referring to this section right here, where the wire bends. There is a clip that the wire should seat into.

By the looks of it both sides are seated.
