Looks good! I'm a fan of the logo too, I like the inverted look, although the screw holes on the bottom are a little in your face; would it be possible to attach from the inside? I assume that's what most customs do to achieve a cleaner look
Attachment from the inside isn't possible since this fascia is used to break up the bottom and hide the ugly screw holes for the weight which also screws in from the bottom. Screwing in from the side was something I explored, but ultimately it's just not possible (see: feasible) with the current design. I did throw the render into photoshop to see what it looks like with 6 screw holes instead of 10:
I actually kind of prefer it this way, and might order the proto like this, mostly just worried that it might be a bit curved and bend away from the chassis. We'll see.
Love the design! Is there any chance of seeing a rose gold color?
Likely not, unless there's strong demand for it. I'll do a color poll once I'm ready to prototype and the 3 (or 4 if some of them are too close) most popular ones. Ideally I'd like to do the 3 typical neutral colors of Silver, Black, and Dark Gray, but my heart also wants to do Forest Green and Dark Blue. I've also seen requests for Burgundy as well as Rose Gold, and, while I'm opposed to those colors for this board specifically, if the demand is there I won't argue.
