These will not be in Round 4, neither will there be any second round of orders for these. I might have a few spare when everything is said and done that I'll put up in classifieds but nothing beyond that.
Also, one small update. I'm getting SP to do a trial mold to see that everything works out well. I'd rather do a few attempts (even if they cost $35 each =F) and get this right the first instead of ending up with tons of keys that look horrible. This means that the "real" production of our order might not start on the 29th but a few days after that. This will also ensure that we don't end up with mirrored keys (Look of disapproval) or keys with artifacts (smile face thing). Hope you understand, these keys will last a good long while - lets do it right the first time. Sorry for not getting this done earlier but I had no idea if we'd even get enough orders to start to consider doing something like this. There have also been some questions about intellectual property rights from SP but that should be sorted now. Luckily I talked to the guys over at Teamliquid before getting into this and got their approval for a small group buy.
This is also a "warning" to anyone that decides to use logotypes for their doubleshots from SP. If you don't have approval from the owner of the IP and SP knows it's a logo they will simply not produce the keycap. Organizing a group buy and then sending the order in only to have it being denied would suck.
Edit: In other news, writing stuff on packages by hand is scary stuff. At this point I feel like the biggest threat to this group buy is my handwriting. Doesn't help when some of you have really hard to spell names. Yes, I'm looking at you two, dxong and piyoco1218. I had to rewrite piyocos adress 5 times
Damn ink, why you so permanent and scary.
I propose that everyone that plans to participate in any future group buy change their names to a series of numbers and letters.
