Been a ham for quite a while now, but I haven't been active until just recently. I have several handie talkies, a couple mobile VHF/UHF radios, and my HF rig is a Yaesu FT-450. Field day this year was the first time I've done any real HF contesting, and I had a blast. I also was elected Vice President of my local ham club (W5QGG) this year.

I think this is "other geeky stuff" worthy.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

I just recently passed the the Technician class exam (Sat, 2 Dec 2017).  So, still waiting for my callsign ("ticket").  :)
