There's some good games on it, better games on the PS2 though. Although it is undeniably the most powerful console of that generation, and the best console to play Shenmu 2 on.
I still have great memories of playing modded games right off the console, not something that is really possible anymore. Not to mention the 500-something hours spent playing Morrowind in HS.

For me, it's all about the retro factor.. purposeful use of mechanics and play elements.

Modern games have too much un-necessary over the top violence..

I'm not averse to violence, but if you're going to have it, make it meaningful...  But certain games have lots of it just for show,  and that reduces the gravity of the experience.

Saying a game has too much violence is like saying a game has too much lens flare. It's completely inconsequential to the actual gameplay and purely visual aesthetic.

Xbox original is superior because it haz the pentium 3, Geforce 4ish graphics card.

i have the x2vga, its' equivalent.

Very few games supported 720p.

Most were 480p max even in progressive scan mode.
