It must be christmas, ebay UK auctions

(1/1)

IBI:
There's a load of old keyboards that have just come up on ebay UK, I'm posting them here incase anyone's interested.

Model M UK layout
Cherry ML ('rare mini AT format' apparently, although the control key isn't in the right place for an AT layout)
Dell AT102R
Cherry G80-1800 'click tactile'   and another
Silitek AT keyboard (not sure if this one is mechanical)

EDIT: Yes, I know this isn't a lot by the standards of ebay US, but compared to what's usually up here it's quite a few.

Bluemercury:
That cherry g80 is using blue cherry switches.

The seller says this one uses grey or "old white" switches.....any info about what type of switches these are?

According to Dell, the AT102R has rubber dome keys. I guess that's what the R stands for. (The AT101/AT101W/AT102/AT102W keyboards have black Alps key switches. From the auction listing picture, the AT102R looks identical to a plain AT102 keyboard.)

Ah, I did wonder what the R stood for. At 20 million actuations it sounds like it might be a good rubber dome though. Maybe a good candidate for anyone looking for a quiet keyboard?
