Salamander should be compatible too, right?

In that case, I'm definitely in for one in ISO.

Not 100% sure. depends on the plate design. I haven't seen much about the Salamander's design.

To follow up here, I asked Quad_H and he confirmed that the Salamander plate isn't the same.

yea i mean i get the scope of the idea and i appreciate that it works as a cheap and easy to design kit. i have no plans to do these things myself though.

Here's the plan for these:

Stock in mid-march (Price estimates only, not 100% final)

Code: [Select]
FR4 Jane V2 plate - Matte black only ~$25
FR4 Jane V1/Orion/Mech27/Mira/Moon (need to verify this compat) - Matte black, gloss red/blue ~$25
MX plates in both ANSI and ISO only (ISO only avail in matte black) - all 1.6mm thick
Alps plates will be WKL (tsangan with 1u winkey)-only and AEK-only (1.2mm thick, matte black)
FR4 QXP Plates ~$20-25
Final layout TBD, will likely be universal/same as the GB plate
Matte black, gloss red, blue, white, green (not a lot of each)

There will be less gloss blue/red than matte black, think like 3:1:1 matte black:gloss red:blue.

Still on track for mid-march?

sort of in between.
Personally I like CF the best. But FR4 is close. PC 1.5mm is way too soft (especially for linears). IMO thicc PC is the best way to go but very expensive to machine.

Yeah. these won't have any copper so they should be fine for RF. If you want a design made, PM me here or on Discord (that preferably) and we can work something out.

If you want to bundle them together sure. Just PM me on here/discord or email me (hineybushkeyboards@gmail.com) before ordering and I can sort that our for you.

I have the Jane v2 FR4 plates on hand - waiting for boxes to put them up for sale. They should be up tomorrow, I'll post a link here! I'm only selling them via my site as well.

The rest will be taken care of as I can. I'm hoping to get some proto Jane v1/orion/etc ones done this week or next and ordered.

Yeah, I will likely do two layouts (AEK and WKL/tsangan) in black for each to start. I hope to order these in the next couple days so I can have them ready.

No plans to send to proxies atm, but I can reach out to them!

Current plan for the Jane v1/Orion/Mech27/Mira/Moon (for my own recordkeeping)

MX: ANSI only and ISO only
ANSI: Gloss red/blue and matte black
ISO: Matte black (not enough demand for more than one color imo)
Normal basic MX TKL layouts, so split backspace/right shift/6.25u/WKL/Tsangan
No split space
Half plate will be matte black/ANSI only (you can mod it for ISO if you want, it's FR4 ez to cut just don't breathe the dust in)

Alps: AEK (with both normal and rotated switch cutouts on the FN row) and WKL/Tsangan
Matte black for all
Long right shift/left shift only
No split backspace/space

Words can't describe how happy and thankful I am that you are going to make the Alps plates. I'm hoping to snag 3 and I wasn't looking forward to trying to source them.

I've got FR4 on my tactile (orange alps) and linear (green alps) and both sound great. I don't think you can beat brass for linears, but tactiles in FR4 are the best I've heard.

Feels nice, sounds a pitch sharper compared to a poly halfplate for me.
