Hi Imsto, does this plate can be used on existing Poker II? Since in your description seems stated not for Poker so I'm confuse why Poker layout is available instead :-\ .

For the first Poker, it looks like the design that's posted will work. But for the Poker II, it doesn't look like it has the cut out for the caplocks indicator LED. The LED was part of the capslock switch on the Poker, whereas on the Poker II, it has it's own separate standoff. I'm curious about the horizontal cut out where the spacebar is as well. The Poker II has 2 LEDs, right next to each stabilizer in the spacebar area. Judging by the plate design, the horizontal cut out is too high for the Poker II and metal would sit on top of the LEDs. The first Poker doesn't have LEDs where the spacebar area is. A slightly adjusted design would have to be made for a replacement plate for the Poker II.

I PM'd Imsto and he said it doesn't support the Poker 2 :p I don't think I'll be ordering anymore now.
if you desolder the caps lock LED and put a different one inside the switch instead of beside the switch, this plate should work with poker 2. your going to have to desolder your board anyway to replace the plate, would take a couple seconds to get that led off.
Don't worry there would be a special version for poker2 now.

you can open up the switches without desoldering correct, it says so in the first post and is shown visually in the pictures. you still have to de/solder to install the plate.

You can remove the switch top covers. Can you with a standard poker?

I would think it would be a benefit. There would be more options, just in case.

Yeah, i paid for a couple of things back in december expecting it to arrive in mid feb so not a really problem.
Although i did have to cancel the pcb mounted stabs, ever since it's been listed as cancelled.
I'll give it a couple more weeks before trying a pm or anything drastic

Some flaws in the design that I noticed:

2) The Poker II has two leds under the spacebar that do not fit through the too slim gap in this custom plate.

damn the status of my plate shipment has been sitting at "Left Airport - Shanghai" for like 17 days now. I knew China Post was slow (i was joking about it earlier) but wow slow even for China. hopefully it didn't get dropped in the ocean lol

either he gave me a fake tracking number or my plate genuinely got lost in the mail somewhere in china but im thinking i'm never getting my plate, i totally de-soldered my poker and its ready for a pretty red plate :( the **** is up with plate GB's always going wrong (not counting Beast poker as GB because he made the plates before selling, extremely smart move)Wait people had tracking numbers? :eek:

I posted in the other thread but it looks like its dead.
Picked up my plates today. A pure plate and a poker 2 plate.
Imsto said they both would be compatible and neither of them fit.
The pure plate doesn't have a cutout for the caps lock led and the poker 2 plate does not have the cutout for the 2 LEDs beside the space bar.
I'm not understanding why imsto said the plates would support these keyboards, because they simply do not.
Any suggestions? Should I go to a machine shop and have them modify them? Or should I Desolder the LEDs? Is this even possible?

For Poker2,
If you solder led on the switch, it will light up when u enable backlit system by pressing FN+V.
If u solder on the led hole besides the capslock, it will light up for indicating capslock are on/off.

Yeah. I did that and now I have no visual indication of when caps lock is on. Which is really crappy.

I'm quite sure that it's low profile. Check the first pic in the OP with switches in the case, then imagine keycaps on it :).

The Pexon/Vortex case looks like a metal cast version of the standard plastic case. I wouldn't call that low-profile. Low-profile to me would be the Tex 60% or the Pure LE.

My guess is aluminum. Hammer offers different anodizing color options just like last round. So I guess everything is the same but just in universal layout?
